We booked a three bedroom villa for myself and three of my adult children for 8 nights. I have stayed at Reunion 3 times in the past with the last time being 2016. The initial villa assigned to us was very "tired". The arm chair in the living room had a broken leg and was not usable.
The dining chair pads felt like kids had been jumping on them and had no structure.Very uncomfortable.
The carpets were soiled and we felt we needed footwear to walk on them to feel comfortable.With us being Canadian,wearing outside shoes inside was foreign to us.
I did speak with the reception who informed us at the time that they had no other units available but did apologize.
A couple of hours later I received a call from the manager offering us a new three bedroom unit.
This unit was much nicer and very comfortable.It seems it is a hit or miss situation when booking with Reunion.That was not my experience at all in th eprevious three times we had stayed with them.
