「It’s a beautiful property, but be aware that it is secluded and that the restaurant menu is quite limited and after a couple of days, we were happy to go elsewhere. The waiting staff was attentive and nice, front desk not as much (maybe the la guard barrier?)」

「We had 3 rooms. None had Air Conditioning working. They assured us that by night, A/c would be working. Didn’t happen. We Were sent to a different hotel at 10:00 pm. The replacement hotel was 30 minutes and three towns away from Montepulsiano through mountain winding roads. It just killed our three days visit to Montepulciano having to drive back and forth everytime we needed to go to hotel and back for reserved meals and activities.」

「It was very inconvenient to get to the hotel because cars couldn’t get there being very narrow with the road. Reception was excellent, the room was very spacious. The shower was weak. The worst was the breakfast was one of the worst I’ve ever experienced. The hard boiled eggs were cold, taken out of the freezer and 2-3 days old where the yolks were very dark green. Yuck. All the pastries and pound cakes were not fresh and hard. Nothing is fresh and they charge you for the juices. Bad experience....

「This B&B is an absolute gem! Just outside the city walls on the tufa rock the views from the breakfast terrace as well as from some of the rooms are wonderful. You’ll reach the Porta Romana on foot within 5min to explore the historic city. Rosanna, who I had contact with before, even picked me up at the train station upon arrival which made my arrival so much easier (the train station is at the bottom of the rock on which Orvieto is located). 「This hotel is a gem in Orvieto. Its location is excellent, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The boutique property is very clean and classy, and the décor is unexpectedly unique, modern, and beautiful. The room was also very nice. I especially appreciated being able to step in from the street into a quiet, peaceful courtyard — the entrance is understated but classy. The breakfast offered each morning was excellent. I would gladly stay at this hotel again when returning to Orvieto.」
