The hotel was clean, modern and comfortable. Unfortunately there is no easy transportation from the top of the funicular to the hotel. It was a strain to walk up hill 200 meters on a narrow brick street lugging two large bags. Taxis are unreliable or just not available

The hotel is a schlep from the station! The Funicular has been broken for some time . I wish someone had told us that. We had to take a bus and walk up to the hotel. It’s not an easy walk in 98 degree heat. There are no cabs that are easily available! The poor owner tried so hard to book us one for our return . Finally it was my daughter that got through and booked us a cab! Very helpful staff.

We really enjoyed Hotel Corso, the location was perfect and we walked all over the city. Ruben at the front desk was awesome! He helped us with everything we needed and recommended some wonderful restaurants in the area over our trip, in particular, Osteria Del Teatro! We had a fabulous meal, one of the best on our 2-week trip throughout Italy! The hotel restaurant was also fantastic - Chris, the GM is a great guy and really knows his wines! The room was great and we had a view of the harbor and beyond. Highly recommend!
