“Room dated, batteries flat in the remote control, no sugar, wifi and phone signal very poor ”

“Spotless clean room, very cosy and the staff were excellent throughout. ”

“So i irrived to a bed. Good start. Anne franks attick would be the ritz compared to this. Tv didn't work, heater didn't work, dispite me being advised to plug it in by the lady on reception. This turned out to not be a problem as she worked out how to put the heating on permanently for the next 2 day. Breakfast on the 1st morning wasn’t something id normally spend 7 quid on as it leaked oil from everywhere, i didn't have a 2nd Breakfast as the other guest sitting with his 4 pint cans of Stella……

“I didn't have breakfast. However, whilst the room was tidy the pillows were like concrete blocks. Also the bathroom had damp and fungus because they dont have an extractor fan. The room also are in need of decoration. I paid £89 and i wouldnt say it was worth £30. Disappointed. Whilst the lady on reception was polite and courteous i wont be staying there again. I work in Leeds a few times a year so i will put this on my 'do not use' list of properties.”

“Used as a transit stop-over. Plenty of eating options in walking distance. Bathroom needs redecorating to raise overall standard. Manager remote, but good comms.”

“Didnt even get to the property. Wrongly advertised as having free parking. The manager refused to help as unaware to me there is a £100 deposit. Until i paid this . Even though I paid for the room he would not give me any details of the location. So held to ransom . He was polite but unhelpful. I chose this property exclusively because of parking as I cant walk distances and especially with a suitcase. Im still trying to get my money back ”

“Great room, very comfortable bed and a great breakfast. ”

“Spacious however I did not see one member of staff after I checked in aid before i checked out. My towels were not changed once over my 3 night stay ”

“It is a bed and breakfast hostel with very reasonable price. Self preparing simple breakfast is available in common pantry each flat. Not bad if you would like to live near the university there for business trip.”

“A very pleasant short break at Hollins Hall. Staff were excellent and the food in the Grill on the Hill was delicious. The leisure centre was well equipped and very clean. Yes, the hotel is starting to show its age but overall the stay was very enjoyable. ”

“What to say but just perfect. Plenty of parking which was excellent as I had a trailer behind the car.staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Not sure when but we will return sometime in the near future ”
