There is a train station in East Linton and only takes 20 minutes away so it’s perfect for a wee day or evening out in Edinburgh if you don’t want to stay in the city itself. 」

「This was a beautiful hotel! It is a historic building so it has it’s quirks but it was neat to stay here! The staff was friendly and this one included the free breakfast. The only thing I would caution is the room was a long way through a maze of stairs and corridors so if you brought múltiple suitcases and have a car then plan ahead and only take what you will need and be wearing the next day in your smaller case otherwise this place was fantastic! I think they may have offered to help with...

「Situated in the very centre of Kelso, convenient place to stay when exploring the area. Checkin was done very easily, with clear instructions sent beforehand. There is a Greggs just in front of the hotel, and also several restaurants and takeaways in close vicinity. There was double glazing in the room, and hence better insulation. 」

Comfortable bed, great size room, lovely and quiet, good sleep, breakfast was good. Free parking. Bus stop to get all over Edinburgh and back, right across the road. For what I paid it was excellent.
