“We were having a family gathering in the mountains. We really appreciated this large home. This included five couples. Everyone had their own room. All beds were king or queen. There were several bathrooms, great kitchen, living and dining rooms for gathering. A grocery store was a very short drive away. The neighborhood was quiet and nice. Internet was reliable. Air conditioning worked well. There were three stories, but the stairs were no problem for us. We absolutely would stay here again. ”

The proximity to Shenandoah was the reason we chose the location at about a 15 minute drive to the Thornton gap entrance. Luray is about 10-15 minutes away for groceries and restaurants. We loved the porch for coffee in the morning and we had someone who stayed in the writers cottage and loved it. I would definitely stay at the farmhouse again if I were in the area. ”
