“We loved our stay at this beautiful, spacious home. We hiked in Volcano National Park all day and came back to a quiet place to stay with a lovely hot tub...perfect for our sore muscles. The location is super close to the park and nearby to the delicious dinner we enjoyed at Kilauea Lodge.”

“We were very impressed with everything about Fern Cottage from Matt’s instructions to the property itself. I have stayed in a number of rental properties but I have never seen the thoughtfulness I found here. Kitchen drawers were labeled. Individual heaters in the bedrooms as well as heated mattress pads. A gas stove in the living room to take off the chill. The cottage is close to Volcano village and the park. The property is close to the back of the estate and surrounded by the forest so it is……

Located close to the National Park entrance, Nate’s place sits on a spacious, beautiful lot. While there is no central heat, there are space heaters to keep you warm on those chilly nights. There was plenty of room for the four of us to eat a meal and watch TV. This is the ideal home for those longing for a simple, yet comfortable……
