Wonderful

The apartment was wonderful. Great location, helpful owners who provided clear instructions to enter apartment. They also secured a ride for us at 4 am. The WIFI worked well and I have no complaints about this lovely apartment.

Great location and great hosts!

The location was amazing, we loved having recommendations for restaurants, grocery and others. The host met us for a 1 hr walk/orientation in the area and that helped us to feel quickly at home.

Great stay in Palermo

We had a great experience visiting Palermo and the stay in Angela and Colegero's apartment was part of it ... great location, clean, and well furnished for our week in Sicily. Angela and Colegero treated us as family and were extremely helpful in making our stay memorable. Their suggestions of restaurants, shops to buy food for cooking in the apartment, and things to do and see in Palermo were all wonderful. The apartment has an excellent kitchen and the two bathrooms were a real plus ... we have no reservation in recommending the apartment.

Family heritage

We were in Palermo for pleasure and seeing where my husband’s ancestors came from. We had the convenience of everything we had at home in the apt. It was also convenient to buses and the restaurants, market and sights we wanted to visit

This property made us feel like locals, not tourists. We even got to know the neighbours. The host was very friendly and knowledgeable with great tips and advice. The apartment was very roomy and quiet, even though it’s in a vibrant part of town. But all of Oalermo is vibrant, right? Highly recommended.

The property owners are fantastic! Very kind and helpful. Super quick to respond and very easy to talk to. The property is in a great location and is a superb value. The showers could be larger and updated but then they could probably charge twice as much. It was truly a fantastic find/stay.

Palermo experience

We enjoyed our stay in Palermo. The apartment was spacious, clean and was located in a quiet and yet central part of Palermo and within easy walking distance to plenty of shops, restaurants, the marina and the city sights. The owners of the apartment were helpful, friendly and very responsive to all of our messages. They arranged our transfer from the airport. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay.

The best ever!

A most generous host & home. Everything we needed & more. Also a great explanation of how everything works. We were picked up at the airport by Calogero & given a great tour & history of the city. After having been delayed for 2 & 1/2 hours. I made a few mistakes while booking & Angela was extremely patient. I will come back & I will recommend this comfortable home. Great place to stay in Palermo

We stayed in this apartment for a week and are very great full for the nice atmosphere. The apartment is really big and you feel like a real "Palermitano". It was perfectly cleaned as we arrived! The kitchen is great for all those how choose not to eat out every day. Also the bedrooms are very comfortable. Both are equipped with air conditioners and giant sized wardrobes. Most important: the communication with the owners! Angela and Calogero where always reachable and cared for our well being. Any question was directly answered. Thank you again!

Calogero and Angela a great couple.

The property is just as described .Very clean and spacious.Calogero met us at the airport. He was fantastic when my friend lost (or had her passport possibly stolen ?from her pocket at the airport )Calogero went to so much trouble to help her.Went with her to the police station and the embassy and then later to collect her emergency passport from the depot. He was so kind and supportive. We had some great meals out in Palermo and his recommendations were very good. If we go back to Sicily we would stay in their apartment again . Many thanks to Angela and Calogera.

Did not get the 2 bedroom apartment we booked!

Evidently this family has 2 apartments in this same street. Without asking us, they switched us to the other under the guise that it was “bigger” except that the 2nd bed was in the living room which meant there was essentially no living room & no privacy for the person sleeping there.The location is good, the host was friendly, responsive & helpful.

Excellent Location

The location was superb. It was a few minutes walk to the main points of interest yet a quiet street with a lot of local flavour. It’s just one street over from excellent shops and cafes that the host will very kindly point out to incoming guests. The apartment is very spacious and well equipped.

Palermo is a new favourite city!

From the moment we were met at the train station by our host, Calogero, until we left the city, we had nothing but wonderful experiences. This was our first visit to Palermo and we are now thinking about how soon we can return for a longer visit. The flat is more than comfortable and the area is excellent -- easy to get to sights and restaurants and shopping. Calogero gave us excellent recommendations for restaurants and sight-seeing. The kitchen is fully equipped and the bed is very comfortable. Even after a long day, we couldn't resist sitting on the terrace with a glass of wine, or a coffee in the morning. We couldn't have been happier.
