Fabulous getaway!!

We had the best time at Shifting Sands!! The decks on the front and the back of the house are amazing! We spent a lot of time on both of them! The view from inside of the house was incredible and we couldn't get enough of it! The house was very comfortable and very spacious. We loved the layout. Everything was just as expected! We enjoyed long walks on the beach and watching the birds and the dolphins! Josh was an excellent host and we really appreciated him.

Beautiful Beach Home!

We had a wonderful stay at Alligator Point! The house was beautiful, kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed and the fish cleaning station was a great bonus for our family that loves to fish on the beach. This is our third trip to Alligator Point and it’s always a great time!

Beautiful Oceanfront View

The location is very quiet and private with a beautiful oceanfront view. The living area was open and spacious. Living area was neat and clean. It looked like there had been some damage to the screened in porch area and underside of home from recent hurricanes that had not been fixed yet, so the porch area doors did not close properly, but had no effect on the living area, just cosmetic fixes that needed to be complete. The place is quiet and remote, so it took around 30 min to get to a grocery store.The coffee pot quit working one morning, but the property manager had a new one delivered to us within minutes! We very much enjoyed our stay!

Absolutely perfect beach home

This home was perfect for our family’s spring break! The home was very well equipped, clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The proximity to the beach and quiet neighborhood provided a wonderful atmosphere. We loved it and hope to return!

We had a great time at Shifting Sands. Perfect split bedroom plan for the family, and lovely living area. Can’t say enough about the view of the beach!!

About the house and the host...

We arrived, got inside easily, loved the place. Cometh then the hurricane. Josh urged us to leave, told us why, and later refunded us the 3 days lost. I almost told him to keep it in exchange for a future stay but we'll take the money and pay it back to him if we're fortunate enough to get back there.

Perfect secluded getaway!

Perfect family vacation spot, especially during the pandemic when being away from crowds was highly desired. Josh is a great host- easily accessible if anything is needed and he even checked in during our stay when he was planning to come to the point for something else to see if we needed anything!

This place is clean, roomy and comfortable. We cooked fresh meals each day in the full kitchen. The views are spectacular. We watched dolphins everyday. Beautiful biking & hiking trails. Josh is super nice. We’ve already booked for next year.

Amazing

Everything about this home was amazing! The view speaks for itself, the beds were very comfortable, easily slept our family of 7 with plenty of space. The kids being able to play on the beach and still see them from the porch and living area was awesome. It is secluded you basically have the beach and whole island to yourselves but still close to many things to do. Would definitely stay here over and over again!

Perfect getaway

The property was the perfect getaway. It was clean and spacious. The screened porch was perfect for the evening sunset. The owners had all of our basic needs to be comfortable. The personal elevator was very helpful in moving our luggage to the main floor. Thank you for allowing our family the opportunity to stay in your home.

Shifting Sands the perfect vacation!

Shifting Sands is exactly how it is pictured. Loved the screened in porch! If we are ever back down this way we will defiantly book with Josh again. Josh is very communitive and easy to reach.

Best week ever!

Despite the rain and all the thunderstorms we had a wonderful time at Shifting Sands. Super clean, big open floor plan and the best views from all the windows in the living room. Josh is great to communicate with and gets back with you super fast! I would 100000 % Recommend staying here!

Cousins Getaway

We really enjoyed our “long “ weekend at Shifting Sands even though it rained the entire weekend. The screen porch and the view from the living room area were wonderful. The kitchen was well equipped and having two refrigerators was nice. The elevator was certainly a bonus for us as we were a group of women 60-74 years old. We will certainly return as a group or with our families.

WE VERY MUCH ENJOYED OUR STAY. THE PROPERTY WAS NEAT, OLD TIME BEACH HOUSE VIBE. NOT A SWIMMING BEACH, BUT OTHERWISE GREAT WALKING, FISHING AND WILDLIFE. ONE ISSUE, NEW A/C INSTALLATION PROBLEM, FORTUNATELY WEATHER COOPERATED. WOULD DO AGAIN FOR SURE, AREAR IS UNIQUE.

Pre-Thanksgiving fun at the beach

Family of five brought Gram and Grand dad to Alligator Point for some R & R. We enjoyed our stay so much here! I visit AP often but this was my first stay at this house. Very clean, comfy beds. The view from the house to the beach was spectacular! There was a little leak in the basement, which did not affect us at all, and it was fixed quickly. Management was very responsive and helpful. I can't wait to book again next year. :)
