Condo presents well in pictures and in person but lacks amenities needed for a comfortable stay

Washer and dryer combo was compact requiring twice as many loads versus average size washer and dryer. No curtains in the living room. Sheets too small for the beds and not adequate bedding. Keurig is coffee maker provided with no alternative so be sure to bring kcups.

We paid for a view of the water. The accommodations were clean but some other amenities like hot water, heat, and internet were unacceptable. We had to shower in shifts because the hot water tank was so small and my husband and I didn’t have a warm shower the entire trip. Also, the TV didn’t work due to lack of internet. The guest services did give us a temporary internet but it was spotty. We should have brought extra blankets, there was a password lock on the thermostat. It was adequate and lovely but not the luxury vacation we paid to have.

Beachfront balcony closed for construction

We booked this property 9 months in advance. So, at some point between then and our vacation week, someone at vacasa knew this was going to happen and just decided that was just too bad for my family. We got zero notice or opportunity to cancel. The unit has no drapes in the living room so we basically spent our vacation with construction workers joining us for breakfast and at other random times during the day. The balcony was a construction zone all week. We were offered a paltry 20% refund.

Fantastic stay on 30a

We have stayed at High Pointe Resort many times. This was one of our favorite condos. The location is fabulous and the condo had everything we needed and more. We would definitely rent this condo again.

COMFORTABLE CONDO WITH BEAUTIFUL VIEWS

Easy beach access and close to restaurants, stores, etc.. Comfy beds, good showers, great window coverings in the bedrooms and the condo was very clean. Would love to go back.

Awesome place to stay on 30A, very clean!!!

We have stayed several places on 30A. This one of the cleanest and most up to date condos we have been in. Located in the Rosemary and can walk to several restaurants. I definitely would recommend!!!!

Great Location

Great condo with a phenomenal location between Rosemerry and Alys Beach. Make sure to let them know before arrival how many wrist bands are needed. Definitely important and a struggle to obtain on a Sunday. We would definitely go again.

Great view from the master and balcony. Beds very comfortable. Fully equipped with the necessities. Pool area is very nice. No pool or beach towels provided. Had a lot of noise above from construction that we were not notified about ahead of time.

Private beach with big lagoon style pool!

Our door was ajar when we showed up and the unit had a supply cup left on the counter. Upon a call to Vacasa, Ian communicated with housekeeping and sent someone over to check the place over and to mop the unit to make sure everything was good to go. Before going to bed, we found that one of the beds had stained sheets and mattress protector so we called the next morning to describe the situation and was told someone would call us back. We didn’t receive any call back so we called back around midday and spoke with Ian again. He put me through to housekeeping and we were informed we would receive a call before anyone showed up, but we didn’t get a call as the time approached 5pm. I called back again and was assured the issue would be taken care of. When we got back to the unit, it appeared the mattress protector was switched out and the bed made, but we never received a call letting us know before they showed up. Other than the two hiccups that Vacasa pretty promptly took care of, the rest of our stay was wonderful. It’s evident that High Pointe is the right place to be give the adjacent beaches were packed and very crowded while our beach was not as crazy. The pool was large and allowed sufficient spacing among people at the pool. The area has gotten quite a bit busier since we started visiting about 7 years ago but staying in this resort allowed us to not be in the middle of the crowds. The unit was nicely decorated and easy to keep clean through the week. The only recommendation I have is for housekeeping to ensure the showers are thoroughly cleaned and to keep up on recaulking the edges. We would return to this unit when we visit the area again!

Disappointed in Vacasa

Good facility with a great location, but Vacasa did not disclose the balcony was unusable due to construction. Vacasa did not respond to phone, email, and in-person visits about the problem.
