"The hotel is easy to get to from the train station - a 6 - 8 minute walk straight up the main street. The hotel is very close to the Funicular about a 2 minute walk. For those interested in shopping you're not more than 2 to 3 minutes from it. Although the bedroom decor is a bit dated it is clean,bright and very comfortable. The breakfast has a good selection for every taste. The City Alta has much to see and do and you will easily need a full day to explore it."

"I had a great stay at LVG Hotel in Bergamo. The location was extremely convenient and made it very easy to get around the area. What really stood out was the level of service from the front desk and housekeeping staff. The front desk was always friendly, helpful, and accommodating whenever I needed assistance. Daily housekeeping was also excellent. No matter what time of day I left my room or needed it attended to, the housekeeping team always made the effort to accommodate my schedule and ensure everything was clean and taken care of. That level of flexibility and attention to guests really made a difference during my stay. Very convenient location, excellent service, and a genuinely helpful team. I would definitely stay here again when returning to Bergamo. Highly recommended!"

"I will definitely return to spend more time in this beautifully maintained, hill topped castle. The renovation into a hotel was done in a manner to conserve history into a very chic clean modern style. The staff was charming. Then… there is the view!"

"This is a really beautiful hotel, the staff are excellent as was the breakfast! This stay would have achieved five stars except for one thing. In the bedroom for tea and making facilities we have paper cups, and no milk on either day. For the price we paid, we would’ve expected China mugs or cup’s and saucers. Huge comfy bed and lovely bathroom with toiletries was an added bonus 😊"

"A lovely hotel… staff were helpful especially Fraaz… who helped us on check in… and when we checked out. The lady on the reception in our first night is also very helpful as we needed extra pillows and iron…. they did not have iron but lend us a steamer as alternative. it would have been good to have kettle in the room.."

"This property is a good place to stay if you have transport. It is located several km from Bergano itself in an area that is not attractive for walking. Overall, as an economy option it is excellent with a superb breakfast. We found the floor in our room could have been beter cleaned which was a little disappointing."

"We stayed here for two nights after flying into Bergamo and before driving to Lake Como. Wonderful hotel with friendly staff. Nice way to chill by the pool with a cool drink and delicious lunch, then relax in the very spacious bedroom. Lovely artwork throughout the hotel made the place feel different from a usual chain hotel. 15 minute walk into the historic town Ponte San Pietro where we’d recommend the Pizzeria Mora."

"Monica was an excellent host. She was very responsive and helpful. The stay was gorgeous and just as advertised. It is a little far out from Bergamo which worked for us, just meant we had to plan well for getting back late at night. Would definitely stay at this place again."
