Paris living

Small and sufficient flat with easy walks to Metro, markets, cafes and Canal. The area has a young vibe and felt like how living in a Paris neighborhood would be!

I never received the code to open the lockbox. I sent many emails and called many times. No response regarding the lockbox code The only reason I was able to get in was the cleaner was late while we were locked out and I was able to get the key . Further. It’s been about ten days and I still have not received my security deposit back! Unbelievable

Our trip to Europe

We had a great time in Paris in spite of the rain. The apartment is up 2 flight sof barro winding stairs . There is plenty sif restaurants and shops in the neighborhood. The teian stations is only a couple blocks. It's clean and spacious for European standards. I wouldn't have more than one couple or a single person.

Wonderful first visit to Paris

This one bedroom apartment was perfect for the 2 of us. It would be crowded for more than 2. The kitchen had everything we needed and the washer/dryer was great to have for a week stay. The building was very quiet. We like to keep the windows open to sleep but there was quite a bit of street noise. We were required to make a separate deposit with Swikly 250 euros before arrival. We did get the deposit back afterwards.

Great place; obnoxious process

The place is amazing, I really enjoyed it. The obnoxious part is the communication from the host company that manages it. They want a sizeable deposit that they ‘process 14 days after my stay’ without telling me if it will be sent back or not (even though I left the place spotless). They also have you fill a form that contains all the same info that would be in an app like vrbo in case a problem would arise. This is basically a company that has their own process on top of the app, so for the customer it’s a lot of unnecessary friction. Also someone called me without introducing themselves or what it was for just : ‘hello, you have not paid the deposit’, it was kinda rude. If this company reduced their process it would be a 5 star stay

Room(s) with Character

Like many older properties in Paris, this one is in a medium size building without elevators and ventilation is provided by street-size windows or central back air corridors that link other apartments behind you. The apartment is quirky has many strange spaces, but most everything worked and once you get the hang of the combo washer-dryer, that system functions well. My wife did note that a lot of trial and error (and frustration) could have avoided with some simple instructions on the washer and dryer. The drapes to the kitchen were not present, so we used a lap blanket to cover the window as the view from other apartments across the street and from the street below is a bit too revealing. But we managed to resolve that. Location of the apartment is excellent, with both the Bastille and the Aligre' Marches just about 20 minutes away. We found wonderful bistros, bakeries, grocery stores and butchers all within 5 minutes from the apartment. Once it started to rain on our last day, this came in handy! When it got a bit colder on the last couple of days, some instructions on the little wall heaters would have been handy too, never did figure out how to use those! But all and all, we enjoyed it and would recommend the apartment for a couple who wanted a bit more room.

Kurzurlaub in wunderschönen Paris

Die Lage des Objekts könnte nicht besser sein. Viele der zentralen Attraktionen (Notre Dame, Louvre, Seineufer etc.) sind fußläufig gut erreichbar. Die Metrostation ist zudem ganz in der Nähe, von wo aus alle anderen Ziele komplikationslos erreichbar sind. In unmittelbarer Nähe befinden sich zudem Supermärkte, Bäckereien, Restaurants, Cafés etc., so dass man sich völlig problemlos versorgen kann. Obwohl die Wohnung sehr zentral liegt, ist sie dennoch ruhig. Es gibt nachts nur sehr geringen Straßenlärm oder andere störende Geräusche, wir konnten stets gut bei geöffnetem Fenster schlafen. Das Bett ist außerdem breiter als normalerweise in Frankreich üblich und zudem sehr bequem. Die Wohnung war tadellos sauber. Allerdings konnte das Badfenster nicht geöffnet werden und im Bad, welches ausreichend groß ist, gibt es so gut wie keine Ablagemöglichkeiten (z. B. für Kulturbeutel, diverse Gegenstände etc.). Der Check-in verlief problemlos; der Check-out war etwas holprig, aber letztlich konnte alles zufriedenstellend geregelt werden. Für zwei Personen ist die Wohnung ausreichend groß. Wir würden sie jederzeit wieder buchen.

Environnement exterieur trop bruyant

Bel emplacement, près de la gare de Lyon et bien desservi par le metro. Par contre, la presence d'une salle de spectacle dans la rue a rendu nos nuits très difficiles, notamment la nuit du 13 au 14 où il y a eu un vacarme incessant sous nos fenêtres jusqu'à 6 h du matin.
