Skylon Tower

A tower with a circular observation deck, surrounded by lush green trees and a stone building with large windows.
A large waterfall with a viewing platform and a building nearby.
A restaurant with a view of a waterfall and a river.
A large waterfall with a boat in the foreground, surrounded by greenery and a distant cityscape.
A river flowing through a forest with autumn-colored trees and a city skyline in the background.

Head skywards for 360-degree views of Niagara Falls and, on a clear day, from Lake Erie and Buffalo to Lake Ontario and Toronto.

Niagara Falls’ dominant landmark, Skylon Tower, soars 775 feet (236 meters) above the Niagara River. The panoramic view from the top is special, as is the journey to get there. A glass-front elevator sweeps you up to the indoor-outdoor observation deck and two restaurants.

The Revolving Dining Room makes a complete revolution every hour while providing guests with gourmet dining from a varied menu year-round. Lunch is served from 11:30 am to 3 p.m., and dinner from 4:30 p.m. On the same level, family-friendly fare and prices are available in the Summit Suite Buffet Dining Room. Its open in season for lunch and dinner. The Summit Suite also offers a year-round Sunday brunch.

One level up from the dining rooms, step out from the elevator directly onto the expansive indoor and outdoor observation decks.

After taking in the views from the clouds, return to the base of the tower where the whole family will enjoy Legends of Niagara Falls, a 3-D/4-D movie with special effects. Check out the nearby Family Fun Center where there are rides, interactive games and a food court. Before leaving Skylon, visit the shopping concourse with specialty shops that feature the work of Ontario artists, indigenous handcrafts, souvenirs and boutiques.

The entrance to Skylon Tower is on Murray Street, a block up from the Niagara Parkway that runs along the river. There is a charge for parking, as well as for admission to the observation deck. If you’re dining at the top, the admission fee is waived. A combo ticket for the observation deck and movie is available, and all tickets are offered at reduced prices online. The arcade and shopping concourse are open to all visitors
