"Writing this review after an amazing stay at the Sheraton Fallsview Hotel. We booked our stay on Expedia where I misunderstood what I was booking and thought I had booked a room with a view. Turns out the view was a brick wall. This was very disappointing as it was our son's 16th birthday and we had planned a weekend getaway. Not the end of the world but disappointing for sure. I voiced my concerns on Expedia to let them know that when booking a two queen bed 'View", the words "no view' would be appreciated by the consumer. The morning after our first night, I received a text message from a lovely employee named Emily who went above and beyond to make sure the rest of our stay was special. She had read my review about the disappointing room and offered us a complimentary upgrade. The room we were moved to was beyond amazing! She even offered to have our bags moved for us and when we arrived, there was a deluxe piece of chocolate cake waiting for my son, as I had mentioned in the review it was his birthday. Emily was extremely pleasant and really seem to care about our happiness and satisfaction despite the fact that this was no fault of the Sheraton itself. We had the best time and I am truly grateful for her service and kindness. The room upgrade and added cake honestly made our entire stay! I would highly recommend this hotel. Amazing location and exceptional staff and a special thank you to Emily whose generosity and thoughtful gesture will never be forgotten"
