"Amazing location, a few steps to the Shambles, restaurants, pubs and York Minster. Really great breakfast in the morning as well. Room was clean and cozy, bed super comfortable. Would definitely rebook if visiting York again. "

"Very happy to receive a room upgrade. First time in 40 years of hotel stays. As usual the staff are helpful, polite and friendly. The room was well presented and clean. The chocolates were enjoyed by both of us, thank you. Only small issue is the WiFi was very poor. We're booked in again later this year "

The fridge in the room was a perfect addition as it meant we could bring some drinks and snacks into the room and keep these chilled. The breakfast was lovely with lots of options for everyone. Also liked being able to help yourself to tea bags/coffee when needed "
