“Lovely lodge in a great location smack in the middle of the island so easy to get everywhere”

“We had a great stay! Tim was easy to communicate with, the house was clean, and as other guests have said - the photos don’t do it justice. The bedrooms are good sizes and we had everything we needed. My daughter appreciated the tvs with access to app subscriptions. The hot tub is huge, very relaxing. Lovely to have a fire and outside space. Being next to the stream and right by the waterfall was a great bonus. ”

“A lovely warm welcome, staff were all brilliant and friendly. Lovely rooms available but we got a room with a rubbish view, broken drainage pipes, water gushing noise. Unfortunately the swimming pool was out of use also but was offered usage of sister hotel down road but not the same as being able to just pop down to use it. Breakfasts were lovely. Encore bar and restaurant were brill lovely food and drinks . Just a shame about what could have been a 5 star ”

“I can't fault my 3-night stay at the Halvard as a solo traveller on business. My room was well maintained, spacious and comfortable with a decent heating/aircon system that allowed me to have the temperature I like. The staff were all very friendly and couldn't have been more helpful throughout my stay. The food was superb with the included breakfast being excellent. The evening meals were likewise delicious, although the choices are limited - so if you are staying for more than a couple of……

“The room is clean and tidy. The breakfast is good with different options. The hotel is a little bit far from the ferry pier, it takes about 25 mins to walk there. If you have luggage, you'd better call a taxi, the taxi fare is reasonable anyway. ”

“I didnt have a beach view, but I wished I did it would of complemented the whole atmosphere of the Regency Hotel. Very quaint, oldy worldy place in a very nice way. Nice personal touches from the toiletries to the shoe shine and sewing kit. Loved my stay. ”
