“Tony was great - I’ve stayed with his properties twice now and both times he was communicative and very helpful. This property worked great for my party of 12 and a dog - the only thing I’ll note is the kitchen was not as well stocked as we hoped. If your group likes cooking at home, I’d bring your own pots, pans, measuring cups, etc. Otherwise, this was a great vacation! We especially loved the hot tub on the deck.”

“We had a wonderful trip! The location of the property was perfect. It's a quick, easy drive into Berkeley Springs and Cacapon State Park. The cabin was very cosy. We loved the hot tub at the end of a long day. I would say the only thing that was a little tricky was the lack of grass or a yard for the dogs. However, not a deal breaker, we would definitely stay again. Highly recommend!”

“We did not get to stay there. We could not find the property. GPS took us to a private property that was not the right location. The property owner was annoyed and said this had happened before multiple times. The link they gave me initially to download the house manual was to the Blue Maple website, and there was no search function to find the manual. When we asked them to call us to help us find the place, they did not respond. We had to call VRBO and ask them to intercede for us. We had……

“I was very very dissapointed. It was important to stay at a cabin that had a fireplace and a hot tub...the cabin being clean and having adequate heat, should be a given! We were told on day 2 of our 3rd day there, they finally sent somebody out to fix the hot tub and we at the pellet fireplace has been broken and parts were on order. There was no heat in one bedroom and in mine, once it heated up, it smelled of strong dog feces, as though imbedded in the cracks of the tiles and I felt……

“If you are looking for a quiet rustic place this is the place to stay. Hot tub was clean. House was in good shape. The steps are a little challenging but it's a A frame cabin so space is limited so keep that in mind before you book. One suggestion would be a new AC on the second floor as is did not keep the area cool. Outside of that we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.”

“Excellent stay at the cabin! My son and I had a wonderful time and really enjoyed the experience. Just one small suggestion — it may be helpful to provide a rake or some type of platform/tool to make brass pickup a little easier. Overall, we had a great time.”

“The property was as listed. All the amenities were wonderful. The cabin felt nice and isolated from other houses but close enough to town and the Cacapon park. Tony was a wonderful, and responsive host. I would highly recommend this stay to anyone wanting to celebrate a quiet birthday in nature. ”

“Could be a very nice home on the lake if more care was taken. Sort of a hodge-podge place with pieces of plooring missing, cabinets without handles, lots of cobwebs and a bit dirty overall. The bathroom was not good, the toilet water was brown and the water came out as a trickle in the sink. Bathroom needs a thorough clean. Nothing outside was properly stored, there was a paddle boat filled with dirt and rainwater that appeared to have been sitting there for quite a while. There were no……
