「The only thing about the weekend stay was we returned from a coastal walk on the Saturday to enjoy a glass of wine on the terrace only to be met with a crowd of party goers and a DJ. We couldn't get anywhere near the terrace but was lucky enough to get a seat inside with a view. Still not the same as it was such a beautiful day we wanted to be outside. 「Loved its location, just a short walk from the beach, although slightly steep. Free parking. We loved the hotel, although it appeared a little dated and maybe required some upkeep, it had great facilities and staff. It had a swimming pool, a pool table in a conservatory with tables. The rooms were great, we had the family studio and it had a large bedroom, great comfy bed, through which was a small kitchenette, with dining table and another 2 single beds and a fan. Couldn't fault the space....

「Breakfast was ok but items on menu extra had to be paid for. Room was clean but dated. Shower was an electric shower that was nearly unusable. Low pressure and no temperature control. No replacement shower gel was left after room was cleaned. Staff were excellent and restaurant was well presented. Hotel room a low 3 star at best.」
