“The hotel is set in glorious grounds and woodlands and within easy reach of both Conwy and Betws-y-Coed. The room was clean and comfortable and the continental breakfast was excellent, including cold meats, cheese, smoked salmon....more than enough! ”

“This is our second visit and we loved it. Staff are always so friendly, welcoming and the food is amazing. Breakfast is great! We did the moderate recommended walk after our stay and no issues with us leaving the car. The views were great but it was hard work getting up them hills at some points on uneven ground. The local area is nice, the castle is great and the Dutch pancake house up the road is worth a visit. ”

“We have stayed at St George’s hotel many times but feel its previously high standards are slipping. At breakfast there was six dirty bowls and two dirty bowls the next morning. We waited 25 minutes for our cooked breakfast and the rolls on the first morning were rock hard. The evening meal choice was not great and expensive so we ate out both nights. Our bathroom tiled floor needed re grouting and had a badly cracked tile in, also the hair and body shampoo hadn’t been refilled which was……

We absolutely loved the hotel, our rooms were clean, the beds were comfy, the staff are so friendly and helpful, and the food - both breakfast and evening meal - was lovely, and really good value for money. The location is brilliant as well, being within easy walking distance of the pier and shops. We will definitely be back soon.”
