「The cleaning staff went above and beyond everyday cleaning the room and leaving decorative animals made out of towels. The front desk staff was very polite and accommodating.」

When you drive the first time is very uncomfortable because you think you are lost, but not your are on the right way LOL」

「We loved our stay at this property. It was beautiful and well maintained. The family that owned the property were really friendly and cooked a full breakfast for us each morning. We loved how quiet the property was, the jacuzzi, and all the wildlife around our bungalow. The only somewhat concerning thing for me was the full glass wall in the bathroom, but I was able to work around it and find ways to have some privacy.」

「There are 2 parts to this review. First the property is amazing, set in beautiful grounds with clearly marked trails and lots of birds and wildlife. All the staff are really helpful and clearly passionate about the location they work in. We did the onsite night walk and saw lots of animals including sloths, agouti, kinkajou and porcupine, alongside frogs and beautiful birds. 「Fabulous experience. if you want the wild/lodge experience but still a staffed hotel with a bunch of services then this is for you! We were in the middle of the wilderness, with birds and sloths on site, but still had room service/clean up and buffet style breakfast and a pool! Absolutely recommend. good distance to all the sites/activity but far enough from the tourist trap that is la fortuna!」

「We had a wonderful 3-night stay at Oro Verde! Everything was in excellent condition and the place is very well-maintained. We loved the fact that when we arrived the property had a nice pool that we weren’t expecting, so it was a great surprise! The property is located in a quiet and peaceful area surrounded by nature and at the same time the location is incredibly convenient, just 15-minute drive to La Fortuna. Our experience was great from start to finish!」

「The Retreat is gorgeous. The views of the Volcano and Lake are amazing. The pescatarian menu is perfect for vegetarians and pescatarians. All three meals are served. We did not have meals included but very much enjoyed dinner and breakfast there. The pocket sized gathering places are charming - slider over looking lake, dining room and reception, the separate lounge area with tea and coffee looking into the jungle. The evening walk was fun. The property is on the top of a very steep hill...
