It’s better on the inside

The outside is a little cluttered, parking is limited and doesn’t look nice but the room was super cute and clean. Great decor and TVs. The staff was nice and quick and helpful. I didn’t have the breakfast so can’t attest to that. The towels, sheets, blankets and consumables (soap shampoo toilet paper etc) were all high quality and ample quantity for my stay. Big pillows, great sheets and blankets. My room 107 had a little gas fireplace. They allow pets for $15 a night per pet and it’s a strict policy.

Nice front desk person for our late night arrival. The bed sheets were clean. The air conditioner worked. The carpet was dirty. The lock on the door did not work. The area around the building was cluttered and unkept. We had 2 bath towels and one hand towel but no wash cloths. Felt like this room was overpriced for what we received.

Clean but Dinky and Dark

Staff did the best they could but building was designed wrong. Room was less than 300 sqft. You had to close door to access sink, toilet or mirrors. Shower so small it was hard to turn. Had to dry off outside of shower Heard everything neighbors said. Not a safe enjoyable experience.

It is old and rundown. The rooms stink and feel very dirty. The bathroom door is moldy on the inside. Only positive was the bed was somewhat comfy. I brought my own blankets and only used them. The “breakfast” is yuck!

On the drive through Oregon to Washington, we saw rows and rows of modern windmills generating power. They are an impressive sight, and while I didn't feel like Don Quixote at the time, I believe it was the purpose of my trip. This motel in Boardman came through on an unusual request and saved my jeans and the next day for me.

So motels are usually stank nasty and we don’t like staying in motels but we were desperate…and this motel was different, it was well lit so we felt safe and that our car would be safe. The rooms were clean and more importantly, they didn’t stink like smoke…the lady running the motel is awesome no matter what time of day she is so kind.
