“The hotel was amazing. The service, the welcome, the staff were all very excellent. We loved our room with the beautiful views, it was nice and spacious. The breakfast was varied , lots of choices and we also enjoyed the dinner in the restaurant. Anoop, Anil, Kiran, Chef Ram and Chef Sarita were all very friendly and gave great service in the restaurant. “The property is simply fabulous. The first impression whenyou enter the property is amazing. You cross over a bridge to reach reception. Enroute there are stairs to access bird zones. Rich lush green all over, lili pods, swans, etc. We stayed with family of teens and elderly parents. We had booked huts. The rooms were very comfortable and had all facilities you would expect. “A good property close to main road through Thekkady but removed enough to be lovely and quiet. Beautiful grounds, pool was clean there was some play equipment. The restaurant served a good buffet for dinner and breakfast, with both Indian and western dishes. We chose to eat the Indian food it was served hot and was very tasty. ”

“Beautiful hotel with spacious, tastefully decorated rooms. The staff were friendly and helpful with all of our tourist questions. They even helped arrange transportation for places in our itinerary. In all of our travels in India, this was the only hotel that had a contract laundry service with washer and dryer, so our clothes were promised to be washed, dried and ironed within a day”

“Lovely hotel with incredible views - make sure you get a jungle view room! Excellent service from the friendly staff and the bedrooms were beautiful. Some problems with noise from other guests outside the bedroom but otherwise a perfect stay”

“Really nice place. Friendly staff! Kumily is great for exploring Periyar. The hotel is 10-15 min walk from the entry point into Periyar national park. Clean and spacious room. No hot water in the shower head. However, there was a tap with hot water in knee-height and a plastic bucket. So it was possible to get a hot shower using that. ”
