“This cottage was a hidden gem. My husband and I needed a place to stay while our home was being renovated and it was the perfect choice. The cottage is located between Grand Bend and Bayfield and was close to several wineries and breweries. This lovely little cottage was in a private subdivision and was cosy, comfortable and extremely quiet. The cottage was clean and some basic things like toilet paper and salt and pepper were provided, although you do have to pay extra for linens. The beach……

“Host interaction can definitely be improved, as per host “they were unable to send messages on the app”. Driveway was unsafe - super slippery, slipped a few times myself, we had a year old baby but luckily no body got hurt and it took me almost 20-25 mins to get the car up. A couple of things that were not working at the property “ Wifi password didnt work, Refrigerator water and ice dispenser didnt workFire place didnt work- no remote”. “The place is a charming and cozy bungalow on a double wide lot with a walkout basement. 3+1 bedrooms, two full bathrooms, one up, one downstairs. I would guess it was built in the 50's or 60's and recently renovated while preserving the heritage. It has a well equipped kitchen with lots of counter space and all the appliances and gadgets you might expect including a dishwasher, plus a large propane BBQ and an outdoor fireplace with a cast iron grill.
