Welcoming and friendly.

Another nice stay

Another nice stay at the Waterside Peterhead. Staff are all friendly which is an asset to this hotel. Food is very tasty at both evening meal and breakfast. Good value for money

Clean but basic accommodation. Surprised that there was extra charge £5 for using pool or gym. Pleasant hard working staff. Food average except for being served a burnt slice of toast under the garlic mushrooms - Shame on the chef!

Very Friendly staff, clean rooms and quiet at night. Food is okay, not the worst but not amazing. Old hotel but pretty well kept. Decent little gym, pool was closed when I was there but looked decent.

If You enjoy golfing, stay at the waterside. You can walk to the most fantastic links course. Plus, the hotel has a pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and a steam for after golf. Perfect.

Stayed 2 nights for a wedding . Staff were excellent couldn’t do enough for us and very friendly . Constantly checking everything was ok in toilets , reception area etc . Rooms very comfy and clean .

Fine for a short stay

On arrival at Waterside Hotel, found the car park was mostly filled with work vans, so wondered if it was the right choice for a couple, but on entering we found the staff friendly and helpful, the room was basic but clean, the TV was set on the dressing table blocking the mirror. Breakfast in the morning was really good, with a great choice and tasty well cooked hot food and good speedy service, so good value overall.

The waterside is great, it is very dated but the price reflects that. There’s nothing else around this part of Scotland that gives you this level of value for money. I wouldn’t go there expecting the world but it’s clean, has a nice restreraunt, a so with sauna, jacuzzi, pool and steam room and the staff are very attentive. I love the place and will be going back next weekend.

As others have said, this hotel is in dire need of an update. Staff were pleasant enough, food was ok and decent value. Paid £7 for WiFi and was only able to use it for about 20 minutes during my stay, even in the hotels main areas. Breakfast was a £24!! Add on

The facilities are so run down, mould in the bathroom, doors that dont fit, general decor is tatty and the rooms are dirty. Staff were friendly and breakfast was ok, although just a little greasy. We wouldnt stay here again but based on cost, you get what you pay for. Poor doos Waterside......

Great Reception Staff.

Reception staff couldn't be more helpful, My work is nightshifts and they have accommodated by giving me a ground level room close to entry/exit where my vehicleis located, This is my second booking here and would not stay anywhere else.
