Arrowhead lake house
The location of the house is perfect and being on a lake was a lot of fun but the house was not so great. I’m not sure if someone lives there and just leaves when they rent it but it is very cluttered. Not welcoming as a Vrbo property since you feel like you are staying with them. Lots of personal pictures up and I think they left some kind of urn on the refrigerator but that is just a guess since we didn’t touch it. Too much personal property! The freezer was jammed with food so we couldn’t buy any frozen foods.. The beds are just as bad. One of the beds is just a gel foam topper on top of a box spring and plywood. It is an older house but definitely needs cleaned out. I don’t believe they are paying a cleaning service to clean, it didn't smell clean and they burn incense everywhere. I believe this house is listed at least 2x’s on Vrbo which is why I never saw any reviews when I first booked it. One listing says it is a 4 bedroom and it is not. It is only 3 bedrooms. The pool is small but worked for getting wet. There are not any lounge chairs to lay by the pool only chairs from the patio table. The palm tree had broke off and they just left it laying on the ground but they did move it so you could walk on the sidewalk. The boat is far from being new like the headline states but we uncovered it and wiped all the bugs and spider webs out and had a great time on the water. The garage had a car in it so we couldn’t use that either. The owner was very responsive for our last minute booking and the house was fully stocked. I would stay in this area again but not at this property.
