"The staff here are exceptional. They go above and beyond to make sure you have everything that you need and are so friendly and charismatic. We had a lovely stay at Shoji Lake Hotel. The facilities are ‘older’, very traditional Japanese hotel which made our stay a very homey experience. The onsen was wonderful, the indoor onsen was definitely a lot older, but the outdoor onsen was newly renovated and so nice. We will recommend Shojj to everyone going to Japan! "

Foods in the buffer and Italian restaurant were great, of course good stuffs don't come cheap. The location is good, as it was intended for outdoor activities. Just that getting around would require transportation (car)."
