“Great people and super fun time”

“The residence is around 25–30 minutes above Lecco and offers stunning scenery, peaceful surroundings, friendly staff, and a freshly cooked breakfast made to order. The online reviews are accurate, and both the hotel and previous guests strongly recommend travelling by car, as taxis can cost €35–45 each way and many firms are reluctant to travel up to the property. “Ein wunderschönes Haus mit sehr netten Gastgebern. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. Es wurde bei allen Fragen schnell geholfen. Die Lage an der Straße war nicht so schön und sehr laut. Man konnte mit der Klimaanlage die Fenster nachts geschlossen halten. Durch die zentrale Lage war alles zu Fuß schnell zu erreichen. Danke für den schönen Aufenthalt.”

But else the stay was not worth its money. The pictures on hotels.com are from a few years ago and do not show the current state of the room(s). Try to avoid this place if possible.”

Having emailed prior to our stay we were collected from the train station by the villa’s shuttle. 2 minute drive (if that). 6minute walk. Welcome on arrival was great. Staff speak good English. Welcome glass of Prosecco (other drinks probably available - but they got us at “Prosecco”). Bags were deposited in our room……
