“Very clean and comfortable cabin. Quiet and peaceful location. Directions were very easy to follow. The little snacks left by host were nice touch. Would definitely rent again”

“This property was exactly what we were looking for. It’s very secluded and peaceful, and our Google maps took us right there. Check-in/out was the easiest. The driveway is steep and we have FWD but we were able to back-up all the way without issues. Beautiful hiking and waterfalls nearby. We will definitely be returning the next time we’re in the area.”

“The cabin was clean and the hosts communicated prior to our arrival. If you have mobility issues, this cabin would not be appropriate due to outside hill and access. Other than that, would recommend you to stay.”

“It was a very clean place, except mildewy growth all above the master bath was unsettling. The basement has the washer and dryer, but it also smelled musty. Refrigerator had old food left in it, we we didn’t like. It was very clean otherwise.”

“We stayed at the peaceful Keowee Chalet the last week of 2025 to include New Years. This is the perfect place for disconnecting and spending quality time to relax, unwind with your spouse. We spent most of our time at the Chalet, but we did dine at a couple local restaurants: Taco Riendo and Casa Lago Pizzeria in Six Mile. We also ventured to Walhalla to see Stumphouse Tunnel, Issaqueena Falls, and had lunch at The Garage in Walhalla. Meghan is a wonderful property manager and was very helpful.……

“We had a great stay at this very cute and well appointed cabin. We enjoyed walks in the neighborhood with our morning coffee, making fires ant night and the beds were very comfortable. Thanks for making our first visit to Highlands a success - we’ll be back! ”

“Bear’s place was the perfect place for our family get away! It’s just secluded enough that you feel like you’re away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life but close enough to a few towns that you can grab things you need or forgot. The only semi negative thing about the property is that there are other properties pretty close and the one directly to the right is a bit of an eyesore BUT you can see where they’ve got trees planted for privacy in the future. “We found all the waterfalls and hikes we wanted. Buck's has the best coffee. Grocery store and restraunts are close. The cabin was indeed cozy and a beautiful peaceful location. It has all the makings for a Hallmark movie. ”
