“Overall we loved our stay at the cabin. Having 6 people in the cabin made the single bathroom tough at times, but we made it work. I wish the water was a little closer as my mother has a hard time walking and couldn’t use the path to the beach, but t was beautiful. The children loved the loft and the kitchen was put to use to make breakfast every morning. Getting re-used to no TV and wi-fi was interesting at times, but we made it work and enjoyed spending time with each other like we did back……

“Although there was no snow, Kim gave us a lot of suggestions on things to do and sights to see. The home is clean, warm and welcoming. The property was set up well for trailers and our toys! Trails were very close and we were able to ride out of her house with the quads and side by side each day! The town of grand marais was super friendly to us as well. Great trip!!”

“We enjoyed our stay. The house was comfortable and was Convenient to the beach and restaurants Communicating with Molly was easy and she was able to recommend a pasty restaurant to try. We Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend the rock tour with Molly and Chet. We found a ton of yooperlites! The flashlights they provided were excellent and the rock hunting tips they gave us were pivotal to the success and enjoyment of our trip.”

“The accommodations were as advertised. Initially, and prior to making final payment before arrival, had difficulty contacting the property manager, but once communication was established, communication was very good. Upon arrival there were some construction issues, but the property manager made some grateful compensations. Would definitely stay at this VRBO again.”

“It was a perfect central location for us to explore the Pictured Rocks/Lake Superior area ! Aspen house was exceptionally clean, quiet, light and airy and had everything we needed for our brief "mid-trip of the UP" stay, allowing us to recharge and relax. I very much appreciated having a washer and dryer ! Be sure you visit the Grand Marais beach and the working lighthouse in the evening and grab a meal at Lake Superior Brewing Co. ! “Very clean, plenty of comfortable seating in living-room. No air-conditioning but fans helped keep it cooler in the house. Great restaurants. Residents very welcoming and helpful. Great vacation! Only issue was communication regarding the reservation we made on 4/24/23. My first time using VRBO. Was not aware the payment for the reservation was handled separately through the rental's management company (Lake Superior Vacation Rentals). That should have been made clearer. As a result, I thought……

“Very nice home. Has everything you need in kitchen, etc. Instructions on how to stream on one tv in home easy to follow. Very clean. Nice large outdoor patio area and back lawn with firepit and lawn furniture. Location is great. Quiet neighborhood across street from campground on Lake Superior. Three minute drive from downtown Grand Marais. Only drawback and strictly my personal preference - too much nice antique furniture in hallway, etc., and knick knacks on most surface tops. Takes up lots of……

“This house was perfect for our family of 8 …. Enough rooms and very spacious. Another shower would have been nice, but it didn’t make/break the trip. The view of the bay and the very short walk to the Big Lake made this location primo!”
