“Coastal Suites is a reasonably priced hotel in a busy section of Wilmington. My only complaint is about noise in the vending/ice machine area which is quite loud in my room which was next to this area. On Wednesday evening someone was talking on his phone. Early Thursday morning some taking a large amount of ice from the machine. This noise was quite disturbing.”

“Overall, I enjoyed the hotel. Room was clean. Great water pressure and quick hot water, loved having the little kitchen area and coffee maker. Breakfast was just ok, but similar to other hotels - eggs, bagels, muffins, cereal, fruit, yogurt, waffles, etc. Only issue was that I got bit by someone’s dog walking through the hallway! I have a service dog (yellow lab) who was between me and the wall and we were both minding our own business when this guys dog started veering over. I had a bad……

“Was runndown looking from the outside but inside was amazingly clean the staff are very friendly and helpful. You could not ask for more from a cheap hotel room. ”

“This is a 3-star property in a 5-star location. We stayed 5 nights in a king suite and enjoyed the views and the sound of the surf, plus the easy parking and ease of beach access. We were surprised by how quiet the property was, but I guess that depends on who is staying there at the time. We were fortunate, although there was someone who smoked on their balcony and we had to come inside and close up the doors (not the hotel's fault). “This property is in an awsome location. We parked the car and did not get back in it until the end of our stay. The riverwalk, shops and dining were all wonderful. The area is noisy at night, but knowing that up-front was helpful.”

“This was our first time spending the night on a sailboat! The weather was awful but assisted in rocking us to sleep. Looking forward to another stay in nicer weather so we could enjoy the marina and outdoor areas of boat as well. Thank you!”

“It was great to be close to the beach (about a one block walk) and the beach at Freeman Park. The Boardwalk with shops/restaurants are about 1.5 miles from the condo, be aware that parking at the Boardwalk is $9/hr +tax. Parking at the condo is free :). The condo was cute and clean and has a small but nice balcony. The ocean is very close but you can’t really see much of it from the condo. Our teenage kids shared the sleeper sofa for the 2 nights we were there and said it was fine although……

“Property was exactly as described. Located in a quiet area yet close to the pier for music, drinks and food. The closest beach access was closed but the next access was right down the street and easily accessible to walk to with all your beach equipment. Parking was easy. The unit is located on the 3rd floor, no elevator but it was fine for us. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.”
