"Prime location, beautiful spaces, helpful staff, and comfortable mattress. Spa services unique and fulfilling, food delicious and not overpriced. Overall would stay again. What they don’t tell you up front is that you can’t bring any outside food or beverages, and this includes bottled water and leftovers from restaurants. I understand they want you to get drinks from the bar and food from the restaurant, and all their tap water is drinkable. However, there’s a small fridge in the room and you can’t even cool down water to take on your day trips off the property. Luckily, they sell large bottles for only slightly more than the grocery store and we convinced them to freeze the water we bought from them in their freezer so that it stays cold longer during the hot and humid day."

"The hacienda property is spectacular. The lush tropical surroundings and the pool is extremely beautiful and so very relaxing. The restaurant is fantastic with plenty of local Mayan dishes both for meat eaters and vegetarians and vegans. The rooms are very comfortable with lots of traditional Spanish colonial accents. Lastly, the hotel staff is superb..very polite welcoming and helpful! Best hotel I have stayed at. Super relaxing rejuvenating stay. "

"Great option to stay to visit Chichén Itzá. The hotel has a nice colonial architecture, rooms are comfortable and you have a pool to spend time. I did not try the restaurant, but my stay was pleasant. "

"The bathroom was not clean all around the toilet. The room had spiders, a few bugs in the bed and on the floor. The pool in front the rooms was closed for cleaning. The menu was very poor for dîner but the soup was delicious. The breakfast had eggs and ham only, instant coffee and no fruits and yogourt. Not a good expérience. The place look abandoned by the owner. "

"The rooms were clean and comfortable. The bathrooms were big. We loved sitting by the outdoor pool, listening to the birds and swimming. We felt like we were in an oasis. The breakfast was excellent. The hotel is also very close to Chichen Itza. It has secure parking on site."

"The room was big , and very basic but for what we wanted, it was okay. It’s not far to walk to the main road where there are restaurants. We were able to park the car behind the gates two of the three nights that we were there , which helped. "
