"We spent a most incredible week at Montalto Tarugo, not only because of the magnificent setting with our own 'garden' and extensive views over the Valle Metauro landscape, but for a great sense of calm and relax. "Cristiano war ein sehr entspannter und zuvorkommender Gastgeber! Das Haus ist sehr schön und geräumig, perfekt für eine kleine Reise mit mehreren Leuten. Avenale ist ein schöner und ruhiger Ort. Das Internet war nicht besonders schnell, war aber in Ordnung. Zum Einkaufen fährt man gut und gerne 30 Minuten, kann aber auch in dem kleinen Laden nebenan einkaufen. Vielen Dank, Cristiano... "Beautiful property and surroundings but it caters mainly to Germans. Reading materials in room was all in german as well as the majority of tv channels. Bring iron if you need one - rooms don’t have one one (which to me seems strange for a high end property). Also, breakfast was 19 euros per person per day - I would recommend including this in price of room. Way too expensive. "

"This is an older hotel (think 60s/70s decor and wood paneling), but felt much nicer than most similar properties I’ve stayed at. The staff are very welcoming and friendly, the lobby is open and staffed 24 hours, the breakfast buffet is quite sizeable and tasty, and the location is directly across from the train station, where you can easily catch taxis or an airport shuttle."

"Excellent newly built independent hotel just steps away from Uliassi and the lungomare. Rooms are clean and large with generous balconies, and they seem to all have ocean views. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Friendly staff. Consider booking the spa for an hour, it’s a cool space with a view of the town plus a jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, and cold shower."

"Reception folks were great, friendly, helpful, room was great. Location was very close to where we were doing business so that worked well. I would say the only downside really was the restaurant. We had a 4.5 h drive from Milan and arrived just before 9pm, last entry was 9:30 so we got there about 9:20, it just all felt a bit rushed and obviously kicking out time soon. The food was ok. Breakfast was the worst, there was virtually no choice, was really disappointing and i had 1 egg and 1 slice of bacon just to eat something, business partner had nothing as the choice was so poor. Overall - I would stay here again but probably would plan to have breakfast elsewhere and get to the restaurant sooner in the evening or eat out. "
