Perfect cycling base in central Pollensa

My wife and I spent a very enjoyable month cycling from Guillem's home in Pollensa. The perfect location - easy access to the mountains but also flat rides for the rest days. The house is very central in the beautiful old town with easy access to restaurants and supermakets. The house itself was clean, comfortable and cool with a great roof terrace (with charcoal bbq which we used a lot). We spent a lot of time on the roof - it's a lovely place to hang out, read, drink, dine and enjoy the views. Guillem and Joanna are really lovely, helpful and friendly people as well as being very responsive. We did have one problem when the glue on the old table and chairs on the roof melted but the next day we had a brand new replacement. You can't ask for more than that! I also have to say that it was a pleasure to deal with Pep, Melina and Zuzana at Owl who were really communicative and helpful. A thoroughly enjoyable holiday :-)

Angenehm und authentisch in einem historischen Haus mitten in Pollença

Die Lage des Hauses ist sehr gut, die Aufteilung der Räume ist gut, die Terrasse und der Blick über die Stadt und die Gegend ist hervorragend. Die Küche ist ausreichend ausgestattet, insgesamt ist es authentisch und historisch. Wer allerdings keine Lust auf quietschende Betten hat, sollte es nicht buchen.

Lovely rental full of character

Amazing location, lovely owner, quirky townhouse with lots of room. Beds were firm and comfy - slept well. So nice to stay on Calvaria square. The second floor outside has a noisy pump or something - the 4th bedroom was adjacent to this. We didn't need to use it, but it would probably have been annoying with that noise.

Soggiorno a Pollenca

La casa di Pollenca è in una posizione perfetta, al centro della piazzetta con ristoranti e bar di ogni tipo. Anche essendo un una zona centrale non si sente il trambusto né di giorno né di notte. Il proprietario è una persona molto genitile e carina e sia lui che l'agenzia sono stati molto disponibili. La casa si sviluppa su tre piani con 4 stanze e un terrazzo molto bello. L'unica nota un po' negativa è che in alcune cose avrebbe bisogno di qualche aggiustatina come i materassi del letto... Nel complesso è stata comunque una bella esperienza e un bel soggiorno, molto comodo per chi vuole essere in un piccolo centro e raggiungere le spiagge di Maiorca

A gem in Pollensa

Fabulous location, warm welcome from owner, great roof terrace. Will definitely return! Only one thing : we arrived early evening and there were no supplies/welcome basket etc. Understand there was a tight turnaround from previous visitors, but even a bottle of milk/water would have been great.

Typical house with scenic roof top

This is a typical majorcan house in the very center of Pollença (no access by car). It's perfect for people enjoying houses with a soul decorated with local taste, with a direct access to the historic center. However, might not be best suited for travelers looking for standardized facilities or with low mobility. We loved the place and the kids did too. They could run in the stairs, have their own bedrooms, liked that you had to go on the terrace to go to the bathroom. Of course, we loved the roof top with a breathtaking view on the region. One down point: be ready to clim up stairs! The kitchen is on the ground flour, and the terrace is on the third floor! This is not the most convenient to convey plates, food and drinks, but the view deserves some sacrifices.

Mitten in Pollenca

Sehr gute Kommunikation mit der Agentur! Das Haus hat in allen wichtigen Räumen Klimaanlage. Trotz der zentralen Lage, sehr ruhig. Die Küche ist recht klein und das ein, oder andere ist schon in die Jahre gekommen. Aber das Haus hat Flair und die Dachterrasse ist ein Traum .

ideal setting in the heart of the town walking distance to everywhere in town. Quiet. Great welcome by the owner. I loved the history of the building, an old templar house. Nice roof spacewith great views not something to improve but to be aware of. being so central, driven access is difficult especially in a large car as street are narrow, and there are many one ways.

Great location with roof terrace!

We had a great 5 days at this place. The apartment is centrally located right at the beautiful Calvari stairs and just a short walk from some nice plazas with good restaurants. We especially enjoyed our breakfasts and dinners on the huge roof terrace with 360 degree views over the town. Parking is a bit of an issue as the streets are super narrow and there's no parking spaces near the house, so we had to park our car on the (free) parking space which was a 5-10 minutes walk. However, Guillem, our super friendly host, took our luggage to and from the apartment on arrival and departure, so we did not have to carry big loads. Negative points to mention may be that the floors of the rooms and terrace were not very clean, that the rooms are a bit dark side, and that the toilet downstairs (there's a better one in the upstairs fully equiped bathroom) needs some renovation. Overall, however, the place is good value for the price (especially if you use all bedrooms as a family/group) and we would recommend staying here.

Superb Location

A very unique house in superb location for all Pollenca has to offer. Restaurants, bars and shops all on your doorstep as are 'must visit' sites such as Pont Roma and Calvary steps and church at top. Would recommend a walk up Puig Maria to monastery with magnificent views. The owner William and his wife are exceptionally nice people and nothing is too much trouble for them, you just have to ask. Welcome bottle of wine and orange juice much appreciated. Would recommend this house and will most certainly use again . Also, staff at Owl offer excellent service and could not be more helpful, thank you.

Beautiful town house in central location with amazing views

Views from roof terrace could not be beaten. House tastefully d while retaining traditional Mallorcan feel and antique furniture. Owner very helpful and friendly. Bathrooms outside in courtyards. This was not a problem for me, but some of our group were concerned about potential insects during night - however no insect problem.

Beautiful Mallorquin house next to the Calvari

This is a 4 storey, 4 bedroom house very typical of traditional Mallorquin village houses. It appears to have been with the same family since 1770. You can tell by the quality of materials that it has been really well maintained. The decor is traditional but, again, the antique furniture is beautiful. There is very effective aircon throughout. The view from the roof terrace is awesome and this is a great spot for a BBQ. The location next to the Calvari is great and it is a 3 minute walk to the main square. There is no parking because of the narrow streets. This was my idea of the perfect holiday rental.

Very centrally located in the heart of Pollenca. Roof terrace with splendid view. If you do not expect too much luxury, like stairs, and forgive some imperfection - this is ideal for your holiday stay.

Great Location in the Calvario

Great stay in Pollensa. The house is located at the beginning of the Calvario, so it is a very picturesque area. Just some steps from the home there are some nice cafes where is possible to have breakfast and sunshine. Supermarket and pharmacy is also near by so it was helpful for a two weeks stay. The owners are also very nice so I can recommend this beautiful home and place!

Best Location

Very nice house in the very center of Pollensa. We had the Calvario at 1 min walk and the main square at 2 min. The house itself has a majorcan decoration and it has AC and other good equipment. We also made use of the upstairs terrace with super views. The owners are also very welcoming and helpful. Many thanks for the stay

Nice experience and great location

The house itself is very nice, very cozy. It has a traditional style, with furniture and decoration items what give it a sense of being in another time. Still, it is very good equiped with AC, Wifi and utilities for the kitchen. The roof top terrace is great for a BBQ with incredible views to the town. The owners are also very nice and very helpful.
