"Great location! However the train had some problems and didn’t stop near the hotel so we had to take a taxi. Our train ride back to Naples was perfect. Highly recommended."
"Great value accommodation with simple, tasty breakfast just15 minutes walk from the archaeological site. The hotel was immaculately clean, rooms spacious and our hosts were extremely welcoming."
"The room was nice, the staff were exemplary - I would definitely recommend using as base for going to the archaeological parks! Perhaps not the best place to stay if you love a hotel breakfast though…"
"The staff are very friendly and helpful. Great location close to the archeological site. Many restaurants nearby and lovely atmosphere in and around the town square. "
"the front desk attendant was very helpful in helping to direct us to the nearby historic sites and local attractions. Lovely property. Parking was on site and easy to manage. Breakfast included managed by charming and capable captain. I would stay there again if my travels bring me back to the area"
"Great location walking distance from Pompeii. Pool was fantastic after a hot day. Had a great recommendation for dinner from the night staff was incredible.

Once home to 20, 000 people, this town was preserved for two millennia by the lava from Mount Vesuvius and now offers a fascinating glimpse into ancient Roman life.
"We absolutely loved our stay at Bellevue Suites. The staff was so kind and the room was clean, spacious, and had a roomy bathroom. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend to others."
"Majestic Palace Hotel was a fantastic experience for my wife and I for our stay in Sorrento. Set in a residential area, the hotel is clean and well kept. The lobby is spacious, with a Michelin rated restaurant within, plus a bar that opens up to the pool, and a rooftop bar that overlooks the city and coast of Sorrento. It is spectacular at night, and they make great drinks.
Our room was large with plenty of room for us to move around. The bathroom was nice and not crowded space. We had a balcony with a few seats to sit outside and overlook the pool.
Breakfast was served in a large room, and there was plenty of food to choose from. Something for everyone whether you like hot or cold items. There were also a few machines serving many options of your favorite coffee and hot drinks.
The staff were friendly and efficient at check-in. And every time we walked by, they always said hello and were smiling. We definitely enjoyed our stay and would recommend staying here."
"Such a beautiful hotel. We had an amazing time here. Staff is friendly, very accommodating and food/drinks were delicious. We loved the beach club and swimming in the ocean on the cliffs with the gorgeous views. This property is a 10 of 10! "
"Great staff fabulous location. The same busker and his 4 song repertoire every afternoon and evening got a bit annoying when enjoying the view and atmosphere from the balcony. "
"Positioned high up on hills, the hotel offers a view that is breathtaking…these are for certain rooms. Inside is immaculate, modern and the terrace/bar/restaurant looks directly at Vesuvius. I was a little disappointed at how small it was and how whilst the hotel itself looked recently refurbished, the room needed attention e.g., the floor tiles were chipped/cracked, and the cupboard door was ill-fitting. The size of the rooms appears to be the most commented feature in reviews. However, the view was unbelievable…doesn’t get any better.
I sometimes imagine how royalty is treated when they visit hotels. I honestly felt like a king as the staff are very attentive, nothing is any trouble and all the staff (including receptionists and the maids) were wonderful…the UK could learn something from this hotel in relation to how to provide outstanding customer service.
Food and drink are not cheap but then the choice was good, cooked/presented to a high standard, awesome in flavour, delivered quickly and with a smile…worth it for me personally. The pool was a great size, immaculate and looked after by very attentive and friendly pool attendants who on arrival, adjust your sunbed/umbrella and provide you with fresh towels…great service. They even take your drinks order and it’s delivered to you by bar staff. So yes, the rooms are a bit small (but you are out all day) but given the hotel décor, the location/views and the outstanding service, I’d recommend this to anyone!"
