Vista Mar, a Home in Madeira

Vista Mar is a studio for two in a self-contained part of a rural house near the village of Ponta do Sol, with its own entrance and a sunny 50 m² terrace with a jacuzzi, a barbecue and open views over the sea and the surrounding farmland — ideal for unhurried late afternoons, in complete rural quiet.

The terrace is about 50 m², is for the exclusive use of guests and includes an inflatable jacuzzi, a barbecue, sun loungers and an outdoor dining area. There is also a free parking area on the property.

The studio is 40 m² and comprises a queen-size double bed (160 × 200 cm), a sofa, a dining table, a kitchenette and a bathroom with a shower. The owner lives on the upper floor of the house.

It is equipped with a refrigerator and freezer, a gas hob, an oven, a microwave, a coffee machine, a kettle, a toaster, a washing machine, ceiling fans and electric heaters, as well as bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and TV, among other amenities for a pleasant stay.



📍 NEIGHBOURHOOD

The property is in a rural area about 1 km from the centre of the village of Ponta do Sol and from the beach, where there are restaurants, cafés and a supermarket.

Ponta do Sol is located in the southwestern part of the island, which has the best weather conditions in Madeira.

A few kilometres away there are stunning cliffs, mountains and Laurissilva forest for nature lovers and hikers.

The property has easy access to the major roads.



⚠️ PLEASE NOTE

As this is a rural area, there may be noise from dogs and other domestic animals on neighbouring properties.

Weekly maintenance cleaning, including a change of bed linen and towels.

The accommodation does not have air conditioning, but it is equipped with ceiling fans.

We strongly recommend that guests purchase travel insurance covering cancellations or other unforeseen circumstances that may prevent their stay.

If you have special needs or allergies, please contact us before booking so we can confirm whether we are able to accommodate them.

Due to the island's location and climate, the presence of insects and small lizards is natural, and they may be attracted by food scraps. We kindly ask that you keep surfaces clean and food properly stored.

For anyone who is not comfortable with the presence of insects and lizards, we do not recommend staying in a rural area.

For those sensitive to mosquito bites, we recommend using repellent when getting around the island.

An online pre-check-in form will be sent to collect the identification details required by law.

In-person check-in is by prior appointment. We will wait up to 60 minutes after the scheduled time; beyond that, it may be necessary to arrange a new time.

So that we can resolve any issue promptly, we ask that you report any faults or cleaning shortcomings immediately. Reports made after check-out may no longer be verified or resolved.
