Beautiful and Clean

Great price for what you get. Property is clean, landscaping beautiful, and the natural pool and waterfall is a bonus. We would totally stay here again!!

Nice, convenient location.

Convenient location to restaurants and stores. Backyard waterfall and hot tub were relaxing. Nice stock of towels, spices and hand/dish/laundry soap. Not a fan of the sand in the backyard. Was impossible not to track it inside. Will keep this rental on our list for future stays.

Tropical oasis

We had a wonderful stay. There was a slight mix up on the date and cleaning of house, but the property manager handled it quickly and we were perfectly happy with the resolution! Beautiful place to stay!!

Perfect oasis!

My husband and I along with our 2 dogs had the greatest weekend filled with relaxation and tranquility! There was no reason to leave this oasis - natural pool, hot tub, sand, fire pit, and large fenced yard for our fur babies! Closeby restaurants and stores, short drive to the beach, and the host was responsive and friendly - couldn't ask for more, we'll definitely be back!

Wonderful stay

Home is beautiful and very comfortable, in a very quiet neighborhood, fenced in back yard. Enjoyed the lanai with the different birds, butterflies. The waterfall is very comforting Quick response to any of your questions and very kind. Highly recommend

Celebration

We came from Texas and Arizona to celebrate an aunt's 100th birthday. We were extremely pleased with the property in N Port Charlotte. It was a very nice place to come home to so we could relax after the festivities. Definitely would recommend this place.

Port Charlette, Florida dream backyard

We had a wonderful stay at the property and our dog loved the back yard with all the bunny to chase out of the yard and all the smell. She enjoyed lying in the sand too. We loved the lagoon and waterfall and enjoy the hot tub too. I had coffee every morning on the patio to listen to the waterfall and every evening we enjoy the waterfall and the peacefulness of the backyard. Easy walk down to the ice cream shop and great location for all activities around the area. Especially Twisted Fork great games and music. The owner answered any question we had and was very helpful. Love this place look forward to going back.

Amazing Experience

We had an amazing experience during our stay. Both the property manager and the owner were attentive to our needs. There were a few small glitches but the owner went above and beyond to rectify them. The owner made contact with us to make sure our experience was not only satisfactory but excellent. I have stayed at other VRBOs before but have never had an owner as invested in my family having an experience that was nothing less than amazing. The property was very clean and well kept. The location was excellent. The property was quiet and beautiful. On a scale of 1-5, I would rate our experience as a 5++.

Beautiful space but

Absolutely beautiful space, the location was easily accessible, the house was clean, open, and comfortable. Hot tub was fabulous. The only things that really bothered me were:1- There were only two coffee mugs, my best friend (who lived a few mins away from the place) had to bring her own coffee mug so we could all have coffee together.2- There were no spices except salt and pepper. We were asked to start laundry, no problem, but there was no detergent. 3- While the waterfall scenery was beautiful, we were unable to safely use the pool, as there was algae covering majority of it with frog eggs all along it. (Benches, steps, bottom, all covered in algae and eggs), it was gross to be honest. Thank goodness for the hot tub, as that was the only thing we could use. We picked this place specifically because it listed the pool and hot tub, and unfortunately couldn’t use the pool. Despite everything, we would definitely stay here again.

Relaxing nature cottage

The house was very clean and well stocked. Everything worked properly. Host was very responsive to questions. The hot tub was great, plus we loved the sound of the waterfall. The lightening on the waterfall is not as bright as shown, but it does have some light on it. Shopping and restaurants ae nearby but you feel like you are out in the country due to the lovely large landscaped property, and the undeveloped lots that border two sides. We used the grill and the fire pit while we had quality family time. I would stay here again!

Central location

Comfortable place and very convenient location, especially for restaurants and shopping. Unfortunately the lagoon feature, which was the reason we chose this place, did not function a single day of our stay. Owner made a sincere effort to have it repaired but without success and gave us a small concession. The photo of the lagoon feature is also misleading as the lighting is nothing like how it looks.

Awesome vacation place

The house was wonderful. The yard was even better. The hosts are thoughtful people who had all the little things available - towels, soaps, dishwasher/laundry, etc. So there was little need for us to buy anything extra, we just needed food. The place is about 20 miles from the beaches but feels like more, because the traffic can be very heavy. But staying around the house is kind of like having your own private beach. There’s the lagoon, the hot tub, a sandy area with the lawn chairs by the grill. There are plenty of grocery and other retail options a short drive away. Also a great ice cream shop within walking distance. At night it’s very relaxing to hang out on the screened in porch and listen to the waterfall. Highly recommend this place.

Not fully fenced

We travel with our 2dogs and specifically picked this property because of the backyard being completely fenced in which it wasn’t. After we checked in I had to go buy temporary fencing to put up before we could let the dogs out. I had to watch them the whole time because part of the existing fencing had such large openings a small dog could go right thru it. That being said the lagoon, hot tub, porch and house were AMAZING!!! We spent our entire time in the backyard and loved it!! We will definitely try to come back here again (just bring our own fence lol)

Great location!

I selected this house because it is located near family that we have in town, it is dog-friendly, and has a fenced yard. In addition, it has plenty of restaurants, grocery, and shopping nearby. It appears that the owners are working on updating the property, as portions are updated, but still dated in some areas. However, it was clean and comfortable. It has amazing hot water and the air conditioner works well. There are ceiling fans in 2 of the 3 bedrooms, which were great! The large hot tub was enjoyable. We loved sitting on the patio listening to the waterfall. It was nice to watch local wildlife (mostly birds) enjoying the wading pond. There is a small fire pit and a gas grill, but we didn’t use either one. I usually stay in a hotel, so it was nice to have a kitchen to cook meals and the backyard to enjoy. The kitchen is stocked basic use items, pots/pans, utensils, dishes, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, etc. The neighborhood is very safe and walkable. I walked my dog everyday and enjoyed seeing turtles, bunnies, squirrels, and birds. The neighbors are friendly too. The property owner was excellent with communication and very friendly. All in all, it was an enjoyable experience!

Great place with Rudy our Visla dog

The place was very clean. Nice and roomy. My husband's first statement as he put the items in the kitchen and looked up was "WOW" He was looking at the lagoon. Very nice. Our dog, Rudy loved getting into the lagoon to get his plastic fish. Nice steps for him to get in and out. We exercised him daily in the pool since he is 17 years old, and his muscles hurt. Good exercise for him. The yard behind the waterfall was nice for Rudy to walk around in which was fenced in. The screened-in porch was nice to sit in while it was raining. Unfortunately, when we were there in the evening it was raining. The kitchen has everything you need. They even had dishes for our dog, in case we left ours. The waterfall sound is great to hear during the day or evening. The landscaping is outstanding, gives you the Florida feel. They have many pollinator plants around the pool. The catus was blooming in the morning. I have never seen this. Not far is a homemade ice cream shop. Very good and has many flavors. We felt safe in the neighborhood. I highly recommend this place to stay. We will be back.

Weekend Beach Getaway

A small slice of paradise

The home is clean and orderly and the waterfall and pool were simply beautiful. A nice dip in the hot tub to wrap up the day and it was a wonderful break from reality

We stayed here last year as a family of five with our Rottweiler and we returned this year. Our doggie loves the yard, the kids love the pool and hubby and I loved hearing the birds while drinking coffee in the lanai. We went to Boca Grande beach and got to swim with the manatees!
