“Everything was just as shown in photos and description. The home was spacious and just right for our family. We loved the screened in porch with air conditioning for the grandkids to have their own space. The owner was extremely helpful in communicating and making sure we were comfortable. The house was very clean and the the lake is beautiful.”

“What a unique place to stay when you're in the "Old South". We had a few good restaurants within walking distance but couldn't go anywhere but the Italian place three minutes up the street.”

“My husband and I spontaneously decided to book a quick weekend getaway. This was my very first time using VRBO, and i saw the cutest cottage available so I immediately booked it. It was only available for 1 night, and we wanted two. Knowing they had other cottages, I messaged the hosts, Stephen and Daisy to see about possible options for a second night. We were concerned this time because we couldn’t get WiFi when we got there, but a quick message to the owner and we were told hie to get on a hotspot. The bed in their property is incredible!! “Checking in process was good, they had a great description of what to do when you got to property. No concerns there. I had my family with me on this trip, including a crawling 1 year old. We found the house to be very unclean when we arrived. We found some toenail clippings and some old food bits scattered amongst the floor. Obviously floors had not been swept from the previous guests. The house is older which gives it great character but the small window units that cool the entire……

“First, the owner did not communicate the apartment number of the residence. We had to wait on the street while waiting for a reply. Then, when we went in the residence, the furniture was full of stains, a bed had plastic wrap around the box spring which indicates bed bugs, dirty wash rags and dishes in the sink, hairs on the bed, and list goes on. We left. Ate the cost of the stay and went directly to a hotel.”

“My boys and I needed to get out of the city for a bit. We stayed at this perfect little cabin in the woods and recharged our batteries. The trail behind the cabin is really cool. Saw a couple of deer while walking to the lake. Loved the serenity, the beauty and the solitude. The cabin has everything you need. “I'm truly at a loss for words on how to describe our experience with this host. Rude, unprofessional, unorganized, poor communication, etc. 1.The address on VRBO does not match the address of the actual location 2.There are several units that are rented out & little to no clarification on who was to be in what unit. Based on my conversation with our neighbors with whom we ended up mixing up units with, the more expensive unit was in worse condition. They also stated they had never experienced……

“The only thing we encountered was climbing the stairs.no side bars to hood on to & steps were too high in length.4 of us was over 64.one just slept on couch because he has difficulty getting up stairs.I’m 64 the renter & had a very hard time.overall the cabin was a great stay.was there only for a relative funeral.which we enjoyed family time together & one evening of a great southern meal.the lake was dried up but my niece who was 5 cabins down from us has a beautiful view of Lake with a pier……
