“This is a super nice holiday inn. The staff was very friendly & professional. The room was clean & quiet, very comfortable. The breakfast was great! Would definitely stay again!!! ”

“The room was excellent, extremely clean and comfortable. Staff was good. The grounds were in somewhat of disrepair but it looked as if they were in the process of making repairs. It had what I needed for a good night sleep which was all that I wanted at the time.”

“The price seemed good until we walked in our room. Surely being a brand name casino, BALLYS, they would ensure their hotel bearing their name would be nice...nice enough even for a small Mississippi casino. It was bad. It looks like they bought an old motel that just happened to be connected to a casino. I was surprised there weren't hourly rates. It appeared Ballys/Hilton tried to update it with newer looking carpet but it didnt take away from the complete lack of upgrades anywhere else. ……

“Staff was excellent. Facilities where clean and well maintained. We stayed in the room next to the pool. Voices could be heard in the room next door because of connection through air vents. Was not a problem for us but might be for others.”

“The Baer House exceeded our expectations. It was furnished with so many unique 1800’s pieces. The breakfast was delicious. Latonya was a wonderful hostess. She was kind, friendly and knowledgeable about the house and the furnishings.”

“If you’re looking for a real historical place to stay, this is it. Very well maintained..bathrooms in our building, Halpino, was excellent..all redone. Bed very comfortable, floors creeked but very old building. Breakfast was at another building you could walk too. Was excellent and fancy. Was in a further area from historic downtown but easy drive. Historic it is perfect for Vicksburg.”
