“For the most part this is a truly excellent family run guest house and I can definitely recommend this spotlessly clean, nicely decorated and well appointed place to stay in the quiet residential area of the town. The house is located midway between the town centre with its public transport interchange and the seafront with its attraction and beach both are about 10 to 15 minute walk away.”

“Room was very clean tidy and well supplied, staff were all excellent, all meals were hot and tasty and at a reasonable cost. Only down side was the noise from drunken smokers just outside our room window as we were trying to sleep would recommend you avoid room 241 for this reason, otherwise it was an excellent experience.”

“The Dakota is a fabulous place to stay! I truly did not want to leave the hotel. The hotel is new and it is beautifully decorated. The staff were extremely helpful and kind. The room was comfortable and cozy. Unfortunately, we did get a chance to dine at the hotel. We did however have a cocktail and snacks. They were perfectly made and delicious. I would recommend to anyone a stay at The Dakota. ”

“We booked this as a large group and it didn't disappoint. The apartments were well laid out with ample space in the living room areas. There was great cleanliness throughout and areas stayed at a nice temperature. The accomodation was really quiet at night and the key system although awkward at first was easier than keys. The location was also great with a short tram or 20min walk into town. Only small gripes are that we would have liked more utensils/ crockery, it would also be nice if there……

“Stayed here for 2 nights in a balcony room, lovely view of the river & very nice that we could sit outside. We had gone for my partners birthday & a lovely bottle of fizz was left for us to enjoy. Room very spacious & very clean, very comfy bed. Would definitely recommend & would definitely stay again. ”
