"This was the first time staying at Perry's. Within the first hour of being there, the police showed up and walked the property. The staff was decent, but could be a little more welcoming and courteous to guests. The property could use some freshning up on the exterior of the buildings and guest laundry facilities. One of the elevators had a shake to it, the one nearest to the ocean, in the south tower. The room was very spacious and updated, and had a nice balcony overlooking the grounds and the beachfront. However, some of the rooms are adjoining, especially the ones facing the beach. Also, on the first night, a cockroach was found crawling around the kitchenette area of the room. It's centrally located, across the street from a IHOP and soon to be, Aldi. As well as, a Surf Style souvenir shop and 7-ELEVEN. Parking can be challenge because of the high volume of people coming and going, but they do have an overflow parking lot across the street, near the 7-ELEVEN. Every place has pros and cons when it comes to hotels. I would really have to consider staying here again though. A lot of potential."
