First time in Cape San Blas

The stay was amazing! The house was wonderful, the locals friendly, and the beach was beautiful. We will definitely be back!

Great location and super convenient

The house was great and location was wonderful! Plenty of chairs and beach wagon to use. Access to beach was convenient and not a hassle if you need to run back to the room. Washer and dryer is under the house near parking area but hard to tell in the pictures. Easy walk to the beach. Entry to the house is up two flights of stairs for those who have mobility issues this might not be ideal. Will stay again due to the simple convenience and location!

Great space

We really liked the space! The living room was very big and the sectional was very comfortable! You do have to walk down stairs to get to the beach but it was very close and quick walk. The location was great and close to the mini market. We would stay here again! The ac was confusing to use bc it looks like a nest but you don’t twist it. You run along the side and tap the side to select versus it being a touch screen.

Great location and view

We loved the location and view of the water — so close to the beach, and not too far down the Cape. The location made it easy to get to PSJ or Apalachicola when we wanted to. The condo is nicely renovated and pretty well equipped. Having beach chairs available was nice. A few downsides: the condo is up two flights of stairs, which was not noted in the listing. It would be challenging for pets or people with mobility issues. The listing also said — and still says as of today — that a loft offers extra sleeping space. We arrived to discover the loft can no longer be used for sleeping, and the beds had been removed. We understand things happen, but we were relying on that space and weren’t notified in advance of the change. Vacasa did eventually make it right, but it added a layer of difficulty to our vacation. The beds in the bedrooms had foam toppers which made them pretty uncomfortable for all of us, but if you like a super soft mattress, you’ll be fine! Overall, if not for the stairs, we would probably stay here again. It really is beautiful, just not likely to work for us going forward.

Nice location.

The rental was very close to the beach and beach area was not crowded since no public beach-goers were allowed. We love a nice, quiet beach where we are not on top of other people!!

Be cautious of access road coming in!

The condo is nice, and the view is great! There are a few things that need some attention-be careful of the road coming into the condo area.

Yearly girls trip

Location was beautiful n close to beach. If you are going to cook for your family good luck with your meal set up. We had one med bowl all others were very! Small. We could have a small salad but everything thing else had to be served out of the pan or pot you cooked in. No spatula no tongs. Our deck out back had rusted metal fencing that was busted scratched my self pretty bad. We also saw three to four cockroaches n no they were not water bugs.

False advertising

The unit had no where mentioned at the time of booking that it was a 9 condo unit, actually said it was an entire house. To get to the unit, it was on the third floor. Washer and dryer are on bottom floor, and it took three phone calls to find where dryers were located and the correct code to open the door. (It’s not the same as the house). Dirty towels were in the washer when we arrived and when I asked for a local number to help, there was not of offered. The house itself is nice. You do enter the property from the master bedroom, which was odd. There is a front entrance but you would have to walk through other families’ gated areas and that seemed like an invasion of privacy.
