This home was better than the photos. Very livable and well stocked. The beach supplies (chairs, boogie boards, sand toys) were great. And the knives in the kitchen were excellent— same set u have at home. That is rare!My biggest concern before arriving was the distance from the beach— I usually book beachfront for convenience, but it really was a non-issue. It was just 100 steps down a hard-packed road. What I didn’t bank on was how crowded the beach was. I haven’t been to CSB since Hurricane Michael, but I used to come annually and I’ve never seen so many people. I’m not sure whether it’s just this specific spot on the beach near public access or if all of the Cape is like this now. It seems the forgotten coast has been remembered. Probably a good sign for recovery. We did have a few hiccups with the booking process which I am chocking up to this being a fairly new-to-Vrbo listing, but it soured me a little bit on the experience. Overall this was a good stay and I think the value for the place would be hard to beat.
