“The host couldn't have done more for us. The Melrose is convenient for the shops although there was a short uphill walk to get back. The room although compact was clean, the bedding was lovely and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was good, cereal, orange juice, Tea or coffee and a full english and there was also the offer of Manx kippers if you wanted them.. “Central location, close to bus stops, Cindy the host was lovely and our stay lived up to all the previous reviews we read. “Lovely stay at this hotel. Stayed for a couple of nights for a quick visit to the island for the first time. Location is brilliant...on the seafront and we paid extra for sea view...well worth it. The rrom was large and well positioned...and very clean and comfy. The breakfast was as expected with lots on offer and very well stocked. The only annoyance is the parking outside...yes its free but only for 16hrs max in one spot then you have to move to another spot (even if its next along) to reset……
