“Fabulous country house style stay - there is a sweeping driveway through mature gardens. The history of the house is fascinating - the monkey puzzle tree is a late addition at 1913. Staff are so kind and friendly and the food is all freshly cooked to order with generous portions.

“The whole 3 nights were so easy and chilled. Then a fantastic breakfast every morning cooked and served by Larry.
Larry is such a welcoming host .nothing too much for him and a weakth of local knowledge.
Cant wait to rerurn in the summer.
We had a family room and was very spacious and clean all in pine to keep the charm of this rustic farm manor house .

“I was disappointed by the lack of clarity regarding the spa facilities. The online advertisement states that the hotel has spa facilities, which was one of the reasons for choosing this hotel. Unfortunately, we were only informed upon arrival that there was an additional £40 charge to use them. This information should be clearly stated in the advertisement so guests can make an informed decision before booking. Greater transparency would help avoid disappointment and improve the overall guest……
