“We loved the cottage! Very peaceful, quiet, and one of the cleanest VRBO locations I’ve ever stayed in. We saw several deer and sunsets over the wheat field were beautiful. The location was convenient to Kenny Perry’s golf course where we attended a family wedding. We cooked breakfast each morning and the kitchen had everything we needed. WiFi and cable worked well. My only suggestion would be a way to keep the bathroom cooler. It got pretty warm in there, especially when using a hair dryer……

“This place is perfect. Absolutely beautiful and stunning inside and the views of the countryside is perfect. Communication with the host is so easy. Everything you need is in the home. We couldn’t have asked for anything better. The decor is just perfect for us. The beds are so comfortable to put you to sleep in. Places you need to get to is easy . Nearby Amish shopping if that’s your thing to do which is for me.”

“Mice droppings were in all the beds. Also fresh crusty blood spots on several pillow cases and soaked through to pillows. M&Ms in a bed too. Obviously unwashed bedding. Our food and containers had fresh mouse droppings on them. Survived by using our own things as much as possible. For so much a night to stay there, it was very disappointing!! When reaching out to owner to see if she’d make things right, she was totally unwilling. One thing I did appreciate is, we left an item there accidentally,……

“Our trip was wonderful. The house sits in a quiet serene location, but close enough for us to go to the races at Kentucky Downs, see the show Shiners in Nashville, visit Mammoth Cave, and have some bourbon tasting in Bardstown. This is my favorite destination, and plan to return annually as long as Lila will have us.”
