Good Quality Accommodation

The small apartment is comfortable and adequately equipped, its is in a pleasantcentral location by a small park/square and surrounded by restaurants and amenities within very easy reach of the centre. A few small factors, like a wobbly chair that needs replacing, and pillow covers that are too small for the pillows, stop this being an all round excellent... but for me a great stay in Porto! thanks

The apartment is within walkable distance to all major Porto attractions. There are plenty of dining options in the block. There is a beautiful park in front of the building. Perfect accommodation for a couple or 3. You will stay around locals which makes it a very good experience. Customer service of city view was excellent

Great location - few niggles

Great location and simple check-in/check-out and easy access, if a little difficult to find. The aircon had to be turned on/off manually by climbing on a chair to reach, as the remote wouldn't work and the wardrobe doors are INCREDIBLY difficult to open! No maps, or any helpful information or recommendations for the area and told we they could not provide a sheet for the sofa bed - we were two friends travelling together and although knew it was for two guests with a double bed wanted to make use of the sofa bed?? They were also only two tiny bottles of hairwash/shower gel for 2 of us for 3 days. However they did drop more of these off when requested, and very quickly.

Close to downtown. Nice apartment but not easy to carry luggage to the 3rd floor without elevator. We had a kitchenette but couldn't use coffee machine - mo pods provided. Everything else was fine.

Great central location

Lovely clean and comfortable apartment in a good central location. Only downside was when other residents came home in the early hours. Noisy on the wooden staircase. Would definitely recommend though. We were just unlucky. Very helpful staff

Location is awesome, but... Cold apartment. Only option to heat was an AC that was not enough to warm the bedroom area of the apartment. Bad experience with hot water, only one person could have a hot shower in the first night. We realized there is only 30L of hot water in the apartment and it doesn't seem to heat up again during the night (solar heating). Nothing was said in advance, no warning at least. The apartment could have been handed to us in better cleaning conditions, we found hair from a wide range of former guests :( Noise from corridor is unbearable, super loud noises coming from other gests. Bed is uncomfortable, hard, with no pillow-top.

Bedbugs

We had a great time in Lisbon, Viseu, and Braga. The last week of our trip in Porto, was such a terrible staying in the Sáto Lázaro-Oporto City View Apartments. 1. ☆☆ It was a apartment room in 2F. We wondered why our bodies were so itchy. On the third night of our staying there, we found bedbugs crawling over pillows around 2 a.m. We caught about five bedbugs and some of them were big. When I burst them, they poured out our blood because they sucked lots of blood. A few spots were had been for two days, but from the third night we checked the bedbugs, I think each person was bitten by about total 100 bites until check out. We couldn't sleep at that night, because we were scared. We stayed up all night. I sent a message to the manager with some photos at around 5 a.m., and I got a reply at 10 a.m. He said he was so sorry and he would make us to move to the third floor. We moved to the third floor after 2 o'clock. Nevertheless, the bedbug bittings continued after that, even we were bitten just sitting on the sofa. Last night we also found and killed one bedbug on the bed in 3F. After moving to the third floor, that day, the manager came to our apartment around 5 p.m. he said we were the first people to say about bedbugs but it doesn't mean we're the ones who contaminated the apartment with bedbugs. he said that the bite on the 3rd floor seems to be due to a bedbug with in our luggage from 2F. he said because of our claim, he had bought the bedbug killing medicine steam sprayer
