Perfect Stay

Very well equipped, very friendly, nice house in a quiet surrounding but close to the city centre. While in the house, I spent most of the time in the beautiful terrace. Our son loved his bedroom with his own bathroom. We will definitely recommend this place for a stay inPorto which, besides, is a great place to be.

Mitten in der Altstadt

Eine kleine Straße schlängelt sich den Berg hinauf, ein großes Auto ist fehl am Platz. Es gibt einen kleinen Parkplatz für etwa 10 Autos für Anlieger direkt vor dem Haus. Unscheinbarer Eingang, wie es in Portugal typisch ist. Das Haus aber ist stilvoll, gemütlich und praktisch eingerichtet. Zum Wohlfühlen und Erholen nach dem Entdecken der quirligen Altstadt. Empfehlenswert.

Sehr gut geeignet, wenn man schnell in die Stadt oder bis zum Atlantik will und andererseits ein ort, an dem man sich zurückziehen kann. In der Küche kann man alles kochen, gut ausgestattet, ich würde wieder hinfahren!

Fabulous home, great location. Everything and more you could wish for!

Most amazing host and a house that is home away from home. Perfect location to walk to historic Porto as well as Foz. Wish we were there in summer to enjoy the lovely terrace. Super supermarket down the road. Easy access to motorways if you have a car. Free parking in the area. A great find and highly recommendable!

Wunderschön!!!!

The Green House ist ein wunderschön eingerichtetes Haus. Man hat eine große Dach Terrasse mit entferntem Blick auf den Douro. Die Schlafzimmer sind gut und zweckmäßig eingerichtet, mit bequemen Betten. Das Wohnzimmer verrät viel Liebe zum Detail, alte Bücher, Kameras und viele andere Kleinigkeiten in Holzregalen machen es sehr wohnlich. Die Küche ist mit allem was man braucht ausgestattet. Supermarkt, Restaurants und Bars sind alle fußläufig erreichbar. Alles in allem haben wir uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt.

Great spot for the real feel.

We were very impressed with the Green House, it's spaciousness, comfort, location and authentic local feel. We would certainly recommend it for a visit to the old historic city but also the coast and beyond. We could stroll down the local cobbled road to the river and either hop on the old tram for a fine trip into Porto (which is buzzing with life and friendliness) or walk alongside the grand Douro river. We ate in excellent local restaurants near the Green House by the river and also in the old city. Thank you Paula for your hospitality and the stay in your lovely house. To anyone wondering a stay in Porto we'd say, this is the spot for the real feel.
