「10min walk from the beach (may be hard for older folks). Great room, very modern! Had usb plugs, clean room, and great service. Only down side is that the shower is really out dated. Everything from the lobby to the room and downstairs restaurant is great but the shower is an eye sore. 」

The one downside to checking in was the timing was quite late at 5pm. however as it’s was only one night, and the complex is huge, I tried to walk to reception twice in the space of 90 minutes upon checking into my room and became completely lost. 「Het gebouw en de zwembaden worden redelijk onderhouden. Dezelfde gebreken als 2 / 3 jaar terug nog niet gerepareerd. Verder eigenlijk te weinig ligbedden waardoor er weer handdoekje leggen geblazen is als je bij het zwembad wil liggen. Vriendelijk personeel en prima poolbar. Niet geschikt voor minder validen. 」

「Had a really good time there with my family. I actually booked another hotel in Sagres, but with much smaller space and poorer infrastructure. So I cancelled that one, and drove back again to Balaia hotel. Again the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. There was also an indoor swimming pool nearby. Hotel staff was nice and helpful. Not to mention that the price is so attractive. Definitely worth it.」

「The staff at this hotel are 10/10. We moved from another hotel that was horrible, we was allowed to check in early & check out late. They was able to dry a couple items of clothing at short notice as the balcony wasn’t in direct sunlight. Second time we have stayed here & would use another hotel again. 」

「The resort was beautiful with lots of lovely gardens and a number of different outdoor pools to choose from. The mini market was super convenient and had everything we needed for breakfast and lunch. We ate in the pool bar a few nights which was great for the kids with a park and a football pitch plus live music. Easy walk to the beach which was stunning. We got Ubers into the old town and to the marina for a boat trip and explore. Loved our stay, would highly recommend.」

「The Hotel staff was very accomodating Their Shampoo dispenser was poor. The TV channels were very limited and several channels didn't work. There was no oven, but had a microwave. There is washing machine which was very nice. There was a lot of entertainment around the pool. Good restaurants walking distance.」
