“Positiv war der tägliche Service mit frischem Wasser im Zimmer sowie die Klimaanlage, die besonders wichtig war, da sich das Zimmer kaum sinnvoll lüften ließ. Deutliche Schwächen gab es bei der Sauberkeit: Handtücher wurden nicht regelmäßig gewechselt und der Teppich war sichtbar verschmutzt. Das Zimmer selbst war sehr beengt und bot wenig Komfort. Insgesamt für kurze Aufenthalte noch akzeptabel, für mehrere Nächte aber nur bedingt empfehlenswert.”

“This guest house was a lovely find in a very pretty part of London. Welcome from Lekha was friendly. Breakfast was cooked to order by Newton. Gluten intolerance was catered for. We had a fan in the bedroom as the weather was hot. Ensuite had a lovely powerful shower. The bed was comfortable. Lots of lovely cafés and restaurants nearby. Also just a walk from Hampstead Theatre. Really kind thought of chocolates and a card for our anniversary. Would love to stay again.”

“A brilliant stay at The Holmes Hotel. The location is ideal, just a short walk from Oxford Street and Marylebone High Street, with excellent transport links. The staffs were super friendly and helpful, always on hand with a smile. The rooms are clean, modern, and very comfortable. The breakfast was a real highlight - delicious and varied. We will definitely be coming back on our next trip to London.”

“Perfect location especially if you like to walk to great restaurants off Baker St. The staff is extremely helpful and the rooms have the most comfortable beds. My only disappointment is they are fully booked when we come back to London later this month. This is an amazing hotel!”

“Only ten minutes walk from Camden market , and 15-20 minutes walk to the tube. Staff were really friendly and room was great, everything we needed and really comfortable bed. Bathroom was huge.”

“This little gem was fabulous - the location (very close to Baker Street tube), staff and room were exceptional. Be careful because there is no lift and stairs are a bit steep. A special shout out to Alex, for her cheery attitude and general helpfulness. Thank you so much.”

“This hotel was conveniently located near many tube stops. We were shocked at how tiny the room was (literally a bed jammed against a wall and a tiny walk space next to it). BUT, that said, it was arranged very thoughtfully to make maximum use of the total space.”

“The hotel is a charity in an old church building which is a really nice way to conceive of a hotel. The staff were nice and helpful. The room was very small (eg hard to open a carry on suitcase) but had everything you need (eg iron, hair dryer etc). The building is starting to show wear and the lobby feels most like a hostel check in. The sheet and towels were clean and fresh. Room was very quiet and air conditioning much appreciated in the heatwave. Very easy access to Camden locks, Camden……

“noisy rooms... can still vividly hear people's laughter at middle of night. the drainage of water in bath tub is bad... big fly in the room... ineffective and nonfunctioning air conditioner in room... very cold room.. finally I asked for a change of another room. ”
