「Great looking hotel on the outside and great area. 10 mins drive to university. Rooms very dated. Wallpaper coming away from walls. Bed heads all cracked and flaking pvc leather. Bathroom a disgrace cracked tiles bath panelling coming away and cracked. Grouting all black in areas」

「Room was clean and nicely presented. There is significant building work taking place so restaurant not open (which they did pre-warn me about,), and skeleton staff. However, the staff were super helpful and friendly. Everything closes at 8pm ( bar, front gates etc) so not a place to stay if you are looking to relax of an evening outside of your room. 」

「Good : Easy to find, great comms, generally very clean indeed, quality of bathroom (great shower) and general decor far exceeded my expectation. Bad : False fire alarm at 4.30am, used underwear and socks from.previous guest in a drawer.」
